Jesus has been saying through his prophets that he would be removing those who have long and faithfully served Him to be merciful, so as not to have to see what is rapidly approaching our sin-soaked world, as to be absent from the body is to be present with our Lord. I thank God for this generation’s stalwart defenders of the Bible as the inerrant word of God such as Dr. Billy Graham, Reinhard Bonnke and Jack Van Impe. Can you imagine the rejoicing in heaven at these saint’s arrivals? Let’s all press on for the prize of hearing, “Well done, my faithful servant” at our passing into eternity!

In contrast, be wary of any minister choosing self-promotion and excessive focus on monetary blessings without humble servitude to reach a myriad of souls for the kingdom. Vain-glory is desiring the praise and glory which belongs to God Jesus and Holy Spirit alone. Beware clever mixings of truth with new age/false Jesus teachings which are so very appealingly packaged, even the elect can be fooled without testing of the spirits with Holy Spirit. Who or what is truly being promoted and worshiped in these last days? Jesus exhorts us to humbly and patiently promote His gospel. We are to beware the love of money as a corrupter. As we are His creation, He can and does view the motives of our heart — whether we are seeking to give glory to God or amass glory and fame to build our own kingdom — though we say it is all for him. HE KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE!

Mat 24:24  For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones). Mat 24:25  See, I have warned you beforehand. Mat 24:26  So if they say to you, Behold, He is in the wilderness (desert)–do not go out there; if they tell you, Behold, He is in the secret places or inner rooms–do not believe it.

Matt 12:36 Jesus said: “But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgement for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted and by your words you will be condemned.” And Heb 4:13 “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account.”
