How do you win the battle raging for your soul and keep the Lord’s glory near you? Trust the Lord in all things, never stop being grateful for all the good in your life, listen to God’s faithful servants — prophets chosen by Him, and sing his praises as you live a life of consecration, devotion and service to the great I AM. He will march in front of you, winning battle after battle for you. Arise and stand. Let the glory of the Lord shine from you as a light to the nations.

“…Listen my friends, if we trust the Lord God and believe what these prophets have told us, the Lord will help us, ad we will be successful. Then he explained his plan and appointed men to march in front of the army and praise the Lord for his holy power by singing:

‘Praise the Lord! His love never ends.’ As soon as they started singing, the Lord confused the enemy camp.” (2 Chron. 20:20-21)  Notice the verse marking: 20/20. Like 20/20 vision! Perfect eyesight consists of keeping your eyes on the Lord and continually singing His praises. This confuses the enemy/darkness…evil cannot stand against the free offer of love to our Savior through praise singing!

“Shout praises to the Lord, everyone on this earth. Be joyful and sing as you come in to worship the Lord!” (Psalm 100:1-2) CEV

As  Holy Spirit was directing this post, (Posted on 2 October 2016 by was having this prophetic/explanation dream of the power of praise to an African village: which is just fascinating. Please read it for yourself.

Christ is resurrected and sitting at the right hand of God, interceding for us daily and waiting for the command of God, all of our Father’s instructions, to blow heaven’s trumpet and go get the bride….Christ’s earthly church, alive today and patiently at work saving souls and awaiting Christ’s soon return. I have been reading many accounts by people so sure that this is somehow a “cop out” desired by God’s people to “just escape” and not be persecuted by antichrist. Here is what they miss: rewards for your own children who love you and have minded you and been about your family’s business and brought glory to your family name are not considered a “cop out.” God is even right now separating His faithful spirit-filled, DNA changed believers by the blood of Jesus Christ from those who are rebellious, arrogant and prideful against Holy Spirit’s invitation to join God’s family. God has been gracious to grant a few more moments or days before  this most marvelous, amazing, awe-inspiring, wonderful event will transpire on planet earth. Satan wants you to believe that this is a myth, but what God has promised will always occur. His promises, like His love, never fail.
God repeats what has been done before. Two men from the Old Testament were raptured and did not face physical death. A man who broke the pattern of death was Enoch.  “So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.  And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” (Genesis 5:23-24 NASB)  He didn’t die.  God just took him away.  It was an anomaly, but a telling one.  Something like it happened again later in the Old Testament.  Instead of dying, the prophet Elijah “went up by a whirlwind to heaven.’” (2 Kings 2:11 NASB)

God gave me a wonderful assurance in a dream where I was shown a wall-mount fire alarm with the words ELIJAH OPTION printed on them. When I awoke, I thought of all that I knew about him — prophet, etc. but Holy Spirit pointed out that he was raptured. When all seems to be panic, as in a school fire breaking out, we will pull the Elijah Option. This is God’s promise to those who have been faithful and true. Have faith. Your salvation approaches. The joy of the Lord should be your strength as we wait with all hope for the appearance of our King of King and Lord of Lord in the skies. Jesus, our bridegroom, will not jilt his bride at the alter. We will soon be reunited. The wedding supper of the lamb is ready and prepared. Make sure there is a chair at the table with a name card of invitation on it just for you.

These two biblical precedents hold any meaning for us living in 2016.  1 Corinthians 15:51-53 in the New Living Translation says, “But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret.  We will not all die, but we will all be transformed!  It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown.  For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever.  And we who are living will also be    transformed.  For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.”This is a prophetic description of the Rapture of the Church.  What wonderful news!  “We will not all die!”  Those who are truly part of the body of Christ at the time of the rapture will be snatched away…very, very soon.

As the deer longs for brooks of water, so does my soul long for you. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God, when shall I come and appear before God?

Warning Prophetic dream to me on 1-12-15 at 1:12 a.m. –

In this dream, I wake up to realize that I am being held down by electronic devices. I’m given the knowledge that these devices are acting as binders — actually clamping onto and holding people (me in the dream) hostage. I am lying on a bed and being clamped down, immobile, surrounded, pressed upon by electronic devices. Told by Holy Spirit that technological devices were part of an evil plot to keep humans enslaved. Also, that this is a 2 part plan in the first stage now (addiction), but evil has a plan to progress to total mind and will control. I break free by sheer will with Holy Spirit’s help  and run to safety.

When I wake up, I am completely horrified by the dawning realization that electronic devices which came in as “labor saving” devices and ways to increase convenience are all part of a carefully set demonic trap. They had physically wrapped around and imprisoned me as in a strong vise. I was told they are meant to harm us. I woke to the sound of “Calling All the Messengers” song playing in my mind because Holy Spirit often sings over me at wake-up — an anointed worship song usually.

“What does it profit man to gain the whole world but lose his own soul?” asks the word of God in the Holy Bible. This question’s answer will have eternal significance.

Prophets are told to report on words from the Lord, bravely, regardless of consequence. I have thought long and hard about these revelations before posting. Obedience to reporting on what God’s Spirit is revealing is more important to me than worry over how people will receive the truth. God has no untruth in Him, so I choose to believe this knowledge for what it is — a warning. What are we humans willing to give up in exchange for the glittering promise of convenience? Now most of our medical records, monetary transactions, websites visited, email, children’s school photos and lunch money, entertainment…well, almost everything…is online or monitored through some form of electronic device.

I only hear about how we are to embrace all the technological change of this new information age…but what if we have been given that which will cause our downfall in the end? How convenient will that be? Have you ever noticed that all the people who have been given glimpses of heaven report back on its glorious attributes, but never ever mention technology? Something to take to the Holy Spirit in prayer…

I had this prophetic warning dream on August 13, 2011 while napping at my parents’ house in their cooler spare bedroom during a heat wave:

I am flying through the air with Holy Spirit by my side so I do not need a plane, just suspended in the sky. It has tall, new, impressive manmade skyscrapers against a clear blue sky, but is also “deserty,” dry and on the shore of an ocean at the same time. I ask God’s Spirit, “Where are we?” as I don’t recognize it. The immediate answer: “Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.”

“Oh….right,” I think. “Why are you showing me this place?” becomes my next question.

Response: “This city is proud of all its manmade accomplishments, but they have left ME out. I am planning to bring judgment against them through water or earth  shaking.”

Then I am driving a car, but an Arab in traditional dress is headed straight for me in another vehicle even though I’m waiting at a red light. I brace for the collision but he stops his vehicle a hair off of mine and grins at me mockingly. Then he lifts his shoulder and looks above me and uses his head to indicate I should get going. It’s a green light. So I drive around him, over the Dubai bridge…and wake up.

I never have been sure what to do with this warning — as it is for an entire country. But…I don’t want to face God some day and tell him I was not faithful in delivering his message. How you take it is up to you. My sincere prayer is that someone, somewhere will turn towards God and be saved. If an entire nation turned to him, heaven’s angels would rejoice…and we could all praise our merciful God who does nothing before sending warnings through his prophets, as he has done from ancient times.

Growing up, I remember a simple prayer before meals. “God is gracious; God is good…so we thank him for this food.” God IS gracious. Throughout the Bible’s Old Testament, He sends warnings to errant individuals, people groups and nations to change from sinful behavior and turn back to Him before risking a final judgement for pride and idol worship. God is love. God is patience. God is all the fruits of the Spirit. But, He is also righteous. He leads an ordered system where sin must have a consequence. Unbelief becomes a choice. Not choosing Jesus before your final breath becomes a choice. God is constantly trying to get your attention in a noisy, choice-filled planet of glittering worldliness. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. So what was true in ancient times is still true today.

God chooses His prophets. You cannot choose yourself. He sends prophetic dreams or speaks directly and audibly as warnings still today. The modern-day prophet must then pray over the knowledge given through Holy Spirit. Should the message be kept private? Should it be offered up to the general population as a warning? Prophetic messages are not for personal gain, but are to help people turn back to God, repent, return from a path that strays or be warned ahead of time of events that will come upon certain cities, countries or people. A prophet is to tell directly what he or she has been given from God — whether that message will be well received or popular. In most cases of the Old Testament prophets, the people did not want to hear the truth. Being a prophet can be lonely as you stand for God before mankind — regardless of consequence.

How does one know the message is from God? Prophetic dreams, for me at least, are different than the ones that disappear shortly after waking.  Years later, they are still clear because they were truth. Also, I am given knowledge I did not have before or had never thought of. Jeremiah the prophet records these words of God almighty: “…But when prophets speak for me, they must say only what I have told them. My words are a powerful fire; they are a hammer that shatters rocks.” (Jer. 23: 28-29). I will share examples of prophetic words from years past in future posts.

I kept a separate journal of these miraculous days to explain later what happened. I paste in the Vasectomy reversal paperwork as part of the scrapbook and forget all about it for a decade until pulling it out to show CAT around her 10th year. Imagine my surprise when my eye falls on the operation date — June 23rd — which became her younger brother’s birthday. How amazing is our God? Later, as we pull out CAT’s social security card which is assigned by the U.S. govt. now at birth, imagine my amazement to see that her number also contains this date – 623 -23-XXXX. God leaving his mathematical signature. We did have a 4th child – a boy – in my 45th year. Kaiser referred to it as a “geriatric” pregnancy. We referred to it as a miracle. What are the destinies to be for these two special children? Time will tell.

It should come as no surprise that God speaks to people today through numbers…after all every verse in the Bible comes carefully numbered, there is a book of the Bible called Numbers, and Hebrew is an alpha numeric language where words have both meanings and numeric values.  For instance the Hebrew numeric equivalent for the word father is 3, and a mother is 41, so it is intriguing that child would be the addition of the 2 for a name value of 44.

My Driver’s License number has always intrigued me for its combinations of numbers which “speak” to me and which seemed to be no mere coincidence.  The first five numbers made sense (I can’t tell you or you’d end up with my whole license), but the last two “68” made no sense to me.  One day in 2001, the year our miracle daughter CAT was born, I specifically asked the Holy Spirit to explain them to me.  We live in the foothills of CA, but my parents had bought our home in Natomas near downtown Sacramento at that time. I was also puzzling over an article I had read about anomalies in the NIV Bible version. I decide to bundle all 3 children into the car and visit Mom and Dad (Nanny and Papa).  I drag my book-loving Dad out of the house to go to a Barnes and Noble in nearby Arden Fair Mall.  Mom infant sits at home. We find the Religion section; I peruse the NIV Bibles.

Then, and I will NEVER forget this moment, I walk around just sort of glancing at other titles. There is a plain brown paperback spine with the title: THE SECRETS OF HEBREW WORDS.  ” Hmmm,” I think. I pull it out and just let it fall open somewhere in the middle.  This is what it reads: HoKHMah–WISDOM.  The number of this word is 68 — describing a wise person. I almost fall over. I feel faint. Here is the answer the day I inquire. I am bemused and humbled. I, of course, buy the book and bring it home. It is sitting on the couch with me now. It reminds me of God’s faithfulness and genuine concern over my questions. I would highly recommend you order a copy for yourself if you’ve never delved into Hebrew’s amazing properties. It is authored by Rabbi Benjamin Blech, copyright 1991.

How can we have more children if it is impossible? Well, turns out that be scraping together enough money for what Kaiser considers an “elective” surgery, you can be sent to a specialist in San Francisco (though we are told they usually do them here in Sacramento — but for us this surgeon should be used. Hmmm….).  “What if it is not successful and nothing happens?” my husband asks. I say we will have been faithful to God’s vision. We can only change what it is possible to change, then leave the rest in His capable hands. The surgery date, June 23rd, is during my summer vacation from teaching — nothing memorable — until much later.

Recovery is horrible. Much pain…swelling…I think, “How are those tiny micro highways ever going to function?” We go on with life. Time passes and I take our eldest daughter, JM, to Mother Daughter camp at Mt. Hermon in the Santa Cruz mountains for a spring weekend near my birthday.  They are the same rustic concrete floor – no bathroom – cabins I stayed in during summer camp as a child.  One of the children has brought a baby of all things staying in a bunk bed.  I’ve never seen a mom bring a baby to camp before. I feel sort of “off” that weekend and think, “Wait! Is God trying to tell me something?”  When I see the positive pregnancy test Sunday night, I tell God, “You are really amazing! You could foresee this child when I could not!” She was due January 11th which made sense to me since both her older siblings were born on the 11th.  We drove as a family to Pasadena’s Rose Parade on January 1st from our home in the Northern California foothills. Plenty of time I thought. My dad, a loving practical man, bought us a car seat for the journey back home on lonely Highway 5 — the backbone of California — just in case. I went back to work for one day, January 3rd, at the end of Christmas vacation (in order for maternity leave to begin in January not December) and bid a fond good-bye to my 6th grade class.

On my first morning of maternity leave, I had just finished cooking breakfast and settled on the couch with coffee to enjoy this delicious unexpected leisure, my water broke.  What?  I hadn’t even bought a diaper pail yet. I called Kaiser and hopefully asked if delivery could be put off for a few days. They said, “Don’t eat that breakfast. Get in here. You’re having a baby today. God chooses everyone’s perfect birthdays for us. Hers is 1-04-01.  Our first miracle child. God chooses the perfect month — January — a reward for obedience that replaces original vasectomy in January. Will this be our only miracle child? I am now 40 years old.
