Exalted and Wonderful Father, we have reached the last day of the year according to the human calendar.

Teach us to count our days by projecting our lives and our minds into Eternity, because what causes the greatest pain in this human realm is the inexorable passage of time and the waiting it entails.

LORD, we ask you for a new mind, free from human patterns and preconceptions.

Teach us to discern Time, and live it as you gifted to the Tribe of Issachar.

Father, we live in a body relegated to space and time, but grant us to live for the spirit so that we can savor eternity and infinity from now on. These are concepts our minds long for, to better understand You and experience You fully.

Today, many will celebrate the end of this year and the beginning of the new, but we, as your children, ask for continuity in You, Father, because You remain the same Yesterday, Today, and in Eternity

We ask You for more of Yourself and less of ourselves, so that we may become channels through which You manifest Yourself on this earth today. Make us arrows that point and direct to You.

Father, may it be for all a year of Restitution, Restoration, and Resurrection!

“So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Return, O LORD!
How long?
And have compassion on Your servants.
Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy,
That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!
Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us,
The years in which we have seen evil.
Let Your work appear to Your servants,
And Your glory to their children.
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands.”

Psalms 90:12-17 NKJV.
