CORNER: Strong’s Hebrew 4740: corner, turning

TZITZIT : The Jewish Rabbis interpreted the word כנפות as the CORNERS of the garment (that is the four corners)

“The LORD said to Moses, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the CORNERS of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel.”   Numbers 15:37-38.

“Who are you?” he asked. “I AM your servant Ruth,” she replied. “Spread the CORNER of your garment over me, for you are a Kinsman-Redeemer.”   Ruth 3:9.

“The name of The LORD is a Fortified Tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”   Proverbs 18:10.

“Come, My people, enter you into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be past.”    Isaiah 26:20.

“Because it is contained in Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion a CHIEF CORNERSTONE, chosen, and precious: He who believes in Him will not be disappointed.””   1 Peter 2:6.

“He is ‘the STONE which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the CORNER.”    Acts 4:11.

“I will give them, in My house and within My WALLS, a memorial and a Name better than that of sons and daughters. I will give them an everlasting Name that will not be cut off.”   Isaiah 56:5.

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of The LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.”   Psalm 91:1-2.

“Was it not You who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made a road in the depths of the sea for the redeemed to cross over? So the redeemed of The LORD will return and enter Zion with singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee. “I, even I, am He who comforts you. Why should you be afraid of mortal man, of a son of man who withers like grass?”   Isaiah 51:10-12.
