Deceptive Blessings

Time is drawing to a close and when it begins to close, events will happen very quickly, My children.

Your enemy knows there is little time left, for he sees the preparations being made in the realm of the spirit. He knows you are approaching the finish line. In all the ages, men talked of the time you live in now. In all ages, men waited for the time you live in, and now it is here. All evil will be destroyed and all My children are coming home. There is great joy in heaven.

The enemy of your souls has unleashed new assignments on you, children. You must be more than vigilant to discern these assignments. Many of My people are not discerning them.

Your enemy is sending assignments that look like blessings but they are assignments to draw your attention to the world and away from himself. (away from the things he is doing so you will not discern them in time) Away from Me and My Word.

You must carefully determine what each blessing is giving you to discern these. His intent is to slow your spiritual growth. His intent is to pull you away from Me. His intent is to snare you in the world’s cares and choke out My Word until there is no longer time to recover.

You have known these evil times of deception would come. I have told you that nothing will be as it appears. You must practice your discernment, children.

If it takes you further from Me, I did not send it to you. If it takes your time from Me, I did not send it to you. If it fills your thoughts with anything in the world, I did not send it to you.

Mark 4:18-20

18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Psalm 141:8-10

8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Measuring Man.

The Measuring Man Is In Our Midst

1. 1. Jesus Christ is the Measuring Man; Ezekiel 40:3-4; Ephesians 4:13. He sets a “plumbline” (Hebrew word “to be narrow”) in the midst of His house; Amos 7:7-8.
2. 2. Jesus is “measuring” the accuracy and the substance of the Word being delivered to His people; it must reflect His character, His truth, His nature, His Kingdom principles.
3. 3. Jesus is discerning, reviewing, evaluating and examining the details of our lives.
4. 4. Jesus knows our present condition and is determined to bring us into His perfect will:
5. He sees our circumstances, our geographical location, our business, ministry and family situations, and will bring them into order as we cooperate with Him.
6. He recognizes our strengths and weaknesses, our physical and emotional state.
7. He sees our present occupations and commitments, and our capacity to rise above pressure and present trials (He doesn’t want us to “burn out”); Matthew 11:29-30.
8. He sees our reaction and response to disappointment, hurts, wounds, rejection, past failure and trauma (are we “stuck” or are we “moving on”?).
9. 5. He is adjusting or changing our focus, vision and revelation where necessary:
10. He is showing us our “assignment” or “calling” for the present season.
11. He is causing our desires to come into agreement with His desires for us.
12. 6. His “temple” is first measured, then judged (for correction) and is then “approved”.
13. 7. God’s intention is to bring us to the “measure” of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Ephesians 3:17-19; 4:13.
14. 8. Religion measures the “exterior”, the outward observances, but Jesus Christ measures the “inward”, internal spiritual condition of His temple (us); Ezekiel 41:3-4
15. Jesus desires that there would be truth and divine understanding in our “inward parts”; Job 38:36; Psalm 51:6. He speaks to us “out of the house”; Ezekiel 43:6
16. His measuring includes a “daily inspection”; His probing is going deep; Ezekiel 20:37
17. Each must come into “alignment” with His standard of holiness; 1 Peter 1:15-16
18. His sceptre is measuring the extent of His “rulership”, His lordship within us.
19. He is measuring our present level of maturity, our ability to overcome; Ex. 23:29-30
20. Each must “measure up” to a “divine specification”, to be duly fitted for a specific position, office or duty. Certain qualifications are required for God’s “assignments”.
21. Our motives are being examined; there must be a “living manifestation” of His standard of godly character and behavior, within our “inner sanctuary”.
22. Our worship is being measured: purity that flows from the heart to glorify Him; John 4:23; Revelation 11:1
23. 9. Jesus is measuring us individually as His temple and corporately as His habitation. Every “chamber” (storage places for salt, wine and oil), and every “narrow window” (which reveals the discipline and revelation within) is being measured. The “lower pavement” (principle of humility) is measured; the “gates” are measured (are they being restored or are they burned with fire?); the “tables” (place of fellowship, communion) are numbered; the thickness of the “wall” (durability) is measured; the “courts” “steps” and “sides” are measured, numbered and named; see Ezekiel, chapters 40-42.
24. 10. God’s people are arising to new levels, new heights in the spirit realm. Everything has to be measured by the “Pattern” in the heavenly realm; Hebrews 8:5. Jesus is the Pattern Son; Ezekiel 43:10.

“Then I looked up and there before me was a man with a measuring line in his hand. I asked, where are you going? He answered me, “to measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is”; Zechariah 2:1-2
