A FATHER’S LOVE SONG TO HIS CHILD:
The Father says: “My Child, my precious Child, borne out of Love…I have seen you. I have seen you laugh and I have seen your struggles. I have seen you fall and I have seen you rise again. I have seen you when you thought you did not have any strength left over in you to go on. I saw you. And I held you. And, I knew that you would get up and rise again and flourish and sparkle in My Hand, even when I thought it was your end. I was there at the birth of every new day born out of the darkness before. And, I knew you would rise again, because long before, when you were but a dream in My Heart: I saw you and I chose you. I saw you and I chose you for My Glory, even when you thought there was no worth in you. I was there when you rejoiced and when you felt your life was meaningless and your despaired in the desert of abandonment and grief: I was there. And, I loved you. I loved you beyond anything your mind could ever conceive you could be loved. I loved you in your victories and I loved you in your brokenness. I loved you in your growth and I loved you in every pit where you felt that you would be consumed by so much darkness. I loved you. And, I sang My Song over you, even as I sang every moment of every day when deep in the darkness of your mother’s womb I carefully crafted every part of you:
“My Child, my precious Child, borne out of Love
I was there with you from the very beginning.
When in the darkness of your mother’s womb a new life began,
I was there orchestrating the beginnings of you.
Cells growing, separating, multiplying.
New life forming by My Hand.
And I saw you, the workmanship of my hand,
and I saw that it was very good.
And I called you Chosen.
And I called you Blessed.
And I called you Beloved.
And I said you would sparkle like jewels in my hand.
“And, step by step, I knit your form together
Within the darkness of your mother’s womb
By the work of My Hands
And the Word of my mouth.
Innermost and outermost taking form
And, I saw you, the workmanship of My Hands,
And I saw that it was very good.
And my heart overflowed with Love.
And I called you Chosen.
And I called you Blessed.
And I called you Beloved.
And, I called you Redeemed…
And I said you would be My Oak of Righteousness.
My Planting for the display of My Splendor.
“Before you ever knew me, I knew you
Deep in the darkness of your mother’s womb
I saw you growing, changing, crafting every last detail of you
By the Word of My Mouth and the Work of My Hand
My Spirit moved upon the surface of the waters that encased you
Separating the light from the darkness
Long before your human eyes ever saw the light of day,
I knew you and I set you apart,
And I called you by name
And, I held you in My Hand,
the craftsmanship of My Hands,
And I saw that it was very good.
And my heart overflowed with Love for you
And I called you Chosen.
And I called you Blessed.
And I called you Beloved.
And, I called you Redeemed…
And I called you Mine
And I said you would be a Trophy of My Grace,
A Royal Crown of splendor in the Hand of your God.
“And at the birth of every new day
When you are born into the turbulence of the world
I will be there, holding you, rejoicing, singing over you
As I will be, when your first cry breaks over a broken world
And in Heaven above the Host of Heaven breaks a sound of rejoicing,
I will be there.
Singing, delighting over you with songs of deliverance,
Breathing into you your very first breath,
Because, before you ever moved deep in the darkness of your mother’s womb
When you were but a dream in My Father’s Heart
I knew you and I choose you and I called you by name
And I knit you, and I formed you, every last detail
Deep in the safety of My Secret Place
And, I beheld you, step by step,
the masterpiece of My Hand,
And I saw that it was very good.
And my heart overflowed with Love for you
And I called you Chosen.
And I called you Blessed.
And I called you Beloved.
And I called you Redeemed.
And I called you Favored.
And I called you “My Delight”.
And I rejoiced over you with singing.
And I said you would not be deserted but Beloved:
My chosen treasure, a royal priesthood, a holy nation
My special possession, a crown of My Victory
A planting of My Splendor,
My Beloved Messenger to the nations,
To declare the wonders of Him who loved you,
He who formed you and held you
Deep in the darkness of your mother’s womb
And called you out of that darkness and into His wonderful light.”
