Proverbs 18:11 “The rich think their money is a wall of protection.” You can hide behind a wall. It keeps you safe. In America, the wealth of the stock exchange even resides on Wall Street. But God’s word makes it very very plain that we are all poor, blind, naked and wretched at death without belief in His only beloved son, Jesus. No matter your possessions or bank accounts in life, not one penny goes with you into eternity. Wealth is not a wall in the end but a barricade of pride that kept you away from true belief that you, like everyone else on this planet, need a savior to enter the reward of righteousness, which is heaven.

“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him,” but have you yielded in trust and faith to Him? The Day of our Lord is near…where will you hide during the judgments?” Is your soul tucked safely away with angelic protection? You have to CHOOSE to be set free from sin.

God’s promises in his Word are true. This one is glorious and timely when reading of celebrities who age and die, or of a loved one’s sudden passing. Glory be to God. We who believe in His promises need not fear death. “Death has lost the battle!” (1 Corinth. 15:54) The words preceding it promise: “The bodies we have now are weak and can die. BUT they will be changed into bodies that are eternal. Then the Scriptures will come true.  (1 Corinth. 15:54)

“Our bodies of flesh and blood will decay.  This means they cannot share in God’s kingdom, which lasts forever.” (1 Corinth. 15:50) They cannot live in heaven as they did on earth. A change needs to occur. One must go from physical to spiritual. What is the ticket to this heavenly transition? A solid belief in the doorway, Jesus Christ, son of God. One must admit their sinful nature and repent, or ask God himself for forgiveness. This is a heart issue between you and eternal God. One must then turn from wrongdoings and selfishness and truly desire to live a life devoted to others, not self. Since self-interest and greed are natural to humankind, you will need Holy Spirit’s help to actually turn from that which is worldly to that which is righteous, true and good. Do not depend on your own assumptions and thoughts which are not founded on God’s Word, the Bible. Choose instead to base your life now and your eternal destiny on words will last forever, as God himself has stated. Search them. Spend time letting the words sift through your brain and positively affect your mind.  Blessings of peace and a key to break the chains of fear and darkness will begin to fall off of you.

An event is coming, one that Christians should recognize as God’s kingdom coming ever closer to earth. God has asked over and over and over that humankind would be thankful and worship Him as their true creator, but most have stubbornly turned away. The Bible tells us this time is coming of sifting — “Goats” (the perverse, unholy and stubborn) from God’s “Sheep” (sanctified, saved and forgiven through belief in His Son). I would plead with you to work out your salvation with the Lord today. Turn to Him while He may easily be found. Pray for peace in our troubled, tumultuous world so that death will not be victorious over you. Satan will lose another soul. You will go with laughter and joy into your Father’s house (heaven), designed for you from the foundations of the world.

God let me experience the feeling of this translation from mortal into glorious immortal on the night of June 23, 2011. You are still recognizable as you, but strong and glowing with bright white light. Oh, it is the most glorious of all realities! “I will explain a mystery to you. Not every one of us will die, but we will all be changed. It will happen suddenly, quicker than the blink of an eye. At the sound of the last trump, the dead will be raised. We will all be changed, so that we will never die again.” (1 Corinth. 15:52)

Every time I hear of yet another famous person who died, I do not think of their fame but instead hope against hope that they were one of the few rich or worldly-renowned that found the narrow path to Jesus

People of earth. Be put on notice. God does not offer entrance to His kingdom based on your level of fame, level of recognition, film or song credits, balance in your bank accounts, number or kind of houses and cars you own or how much fine wine and spirits you owned. He only grants entrance by your free-will acceptance of His Holy Spirit…through repentance and turning from your selfish, wicked, worldly ways. I am so grieved over each famed obituary I read. I search and scan for any sign that they followed the Prince of Peace and not the liar and stealer of souls. I usually end grieved that short of a miracle, I will not fellowship with them in eternity. They are gone for good. Their fame from earthly pursuits their only payment. Life separated from the lover of their souls, God, because they were too busy, pompous or arrogant to accept His hand outstretched, until their last breaths.

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness,”  2 Timothy 2:19.

“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.  If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light.  It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work,”   1 Corinthians 3:11-13. (Those who do good works without Christ and His love, are not working with God, but against him.)

“But be on guard, so that your hearts are not weighed down and depressed with the giddiness of debauchery and the nausea of self-indulgence and the worldly worries of life, and then that day [when the Messiah returns] “will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who live on the face of all the earth.  But keep alert at all times [be attentive and ready], praying that you may have the strength and ability [to be found worthy and] to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man [at His coming”],   Luke 21:34-36.  (Are you walking on His Highway of Holiness before he comes back, or before you go to meet him at death?)

And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize?  So run, that ye may obtain.  And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:  but I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway,”   1 Corinthians 9:23-27 (KJV).

We are in a race together!  A race to share the gospel of  Jesus Christ before we draw our last breath or time ends. At that point, all opportunity for heavenly reward will cease.

There are all types of prizes for earthly contests and races.  The Bible says these prizes, or crowns of sorts, are perishable so will not last forever as they must be left behind when we die. No one takes their Super Bowl ring, Olympics medal, Purple Heart for valor, movie or song trophies, boy scout medals, or school awards with them beyond that veil called eternity.

But there is a race that we’ve all been entered in — like it or not. There are those who can hardly wait to race to accomplish His purpose and plan, or those who just stand at the starting line when it is time to run (no interest in pursuing Jesus), or those who want to quit and wait back in the comfortable locker room (turned their backs on Jesus and His race).

Jesus promises an imperishable crown.  No one can take it from you and it will be yours forever. Think of that! The wonder and awe of being honored for eternity for choices made here = astonishing!

We need to take care how we run this race.  Castaways are just lost souls. They are adrift in a salty sea. How can they answer the call, “Who will go for us?” You cannot reach out to the lost when you yourself do not avail yourself of the cardinal compass points called God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and the Bible (Hisword of truth). You’re just hopelessly lost unable to even find the track where the race is being held without faith in God and his plan of salvation through Jesus’s atonement.

As in an earthly race there are rules to follow if you want to win. TURN OFF YOUR TELEVISION. TUNE OUT SOCIAL MEDIA. LISTEN TO PRAISE MUSIC INSTEAD OF SECULAR JUNK-FOOD FILLERS THAT JUST WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME. Pursue that which God promises to reward. Be kind to yourself. Imagine the most buff workout coach you can, then BECOME THAT PERSON BUT IN A SPIRITUAL SENSE. BECOME A HURDLER OF OBSTACLES THAT COME AGAINST YOU AS A RACER.

For the Spirit-filled Christ follower, we are given guidelines for winning:

  1. Self-control — shrug off the chains that attempt to entangle and drag you down and out to be disqualified. Who can run with their feet entrapped by chains?
  2. Preach to others through your example, in word and deed. BUT — be careful to not participate in self-deception with unclean hands and impure motives that you would be a castaway and be disqualified, for lustful desires for fame, power position, sexual brokenness in its myriad dysfunction forms is our greatest enemy. Obedience to our call must be first.

“In the towns where Jesus had worked MOST of HIS MIRACLES the people REFUSED TO TURN TO GOD. So Jesus was upset with them.” (Matthew 11:20) Talk about exasperating and infuriating! Can you imagine? God’s son, Jesus, leaves his majestic heaven and has come to earth to offer Father’s salvation. By now, the people have already personally witnessed him heal the blind, make the lame to walk, healed the skin-eating destructive disease of leprosy, open deaf ears so they could hear talking, music and laughter, and people who have ceased to live and breathe (the dead) have been raised back to life. (paraphrase of Matthew 11: 4-5)

Then the people seem to think, well that is all well and good, but what else do you have to convince us? We’d like to see you transformed right here. We would like certainty to replace faith. But — Where would be the reward in that? It would be like if God, today in 2016-17, began to write in the clouds: “Attention please! I AM is god. JESUS IS MY SON. Holy Spirit is our comforter. The BIBLE is my truth. Believe in me now as I have plainly written this for you.” So then the people would believe and say, “Finally, you have taken out the faith factor, and I will believe you because I must. I cannot doubt any more. I don’t need faith for what is plainly revealed.”

BUT…God is looking for a people who believe without seeing. His blessing and favor rests on those who believe his Holy scripture and first-hand accounts of the apostles and prophets, but have not seen Jesus in the first century as he walked the earth for 33 years. Over and over the Bible offers blessings for faith.

Turn to the LORD! He can still be found. Call out to God! He is near.

Turn to the LORD! He can still be found. Call out to God! He is near. Give up your crooked ways and your evil thoughts Return to the LORD our God. He will be merciful and forgive your sins. (Isaiah 55:6-7) When world events become supernaturally “impossible” in the natural, remember the Lord is getting ready to step back into HIStory (His story) in an unmistakable way. He is offering you full forgiveness of your sins. God says, “Respect the Sabbath (His day of rest), obey me completely, and keep our agreement. Then I will set up monuments in my temple with your names written on them…” (Isaiah 56:4-5)

Listen to “Forever” sung by Bethel Music & Kari Jobe from the You Make Me Brave album. Christ made atonement possible between us, common people, and God our Father. Let the truth of his sacrifice cause your spirit to soar. He is alive and we can be made new and alive in Him, to serve and reign forever in heaven. Hallelujah….Maranatha…God with us…wonderful counselor…mighty savior. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Be grafted into God’s family, his kingdom, to be called sons and daughters of the Most High.

“The LORD said: Be honest and fair! Soon I will come to save you; my saving power will be seen everywhere on earth. I will bless everyone who respects the Sabbath and refuses to do wrong.” (Isaiah 56: 1-2)

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;  Let those also who love Your name, Be joyful in You. (Psalm 5:11)

Truth = You know the Lord is God! He created us, and we belong to him

Was your birth accidental? Are you part of some evolutionary process? Are humans becoming better and better until they achieve a god consciousness? Will technology mixed with the human genome create a race of super-humans?

As always, the truth is found in God’s word: “You know the Lord is God! He created us, and we belong to him; we are his people, the sheep in his pasture.” (Psalm 100:3) So, no. We are only created by the Lord. All other processes and the gene splicing of humans with animals and robotics going on in labs around the world is not of the Lord. These tinkerers have fooled themselves into believing that they can create life. Satan has no creative ability, however. He just counterfeits what truly belongs to the Lord, which is human conception.

“Love the Lord and hate evil! God protects his loyal people and rescues them from violence.” (Psalm 97:10)

The day will arrive when God separates humans into only 2 groups, no more. He will put His people, the sheep, on his right unto salvation, and the goats, those who stubbornly refused His outstretched hand of salvation for arrogance and rebellion, on the left. Today, right now, you can still choose to become one of His “sheep” of your own free will. Imagine the terror and dread when the choosing time is over and you stand trembling before your maker with no excuse, no Jesus, no salvation.  “Those who brag about the useless idols they worship are (will be) terribly ashamed, and all the false gods bow down to the Lord.” (Psalm 97:7)

How will you know if you have been tricked by a false or counterfeit god or christ-wannabe? God’s word provides the answer, as always. If anyone claims that Jesus Christ is not the true Savior of this world, or only sent son of God, he/she is a liar.” Period, end of sentence. God created a very narrow gateway to his eternal Kingdom named Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior. Enter into the narrow gate for wide is the gate to destruction and ruin.

Satan, the enemy of your soul, will do ANYTHING to keep you away from God’s truth. Distractions, pleasures, lies, lures, power, position, chasing after monetary wealth, cults, evolution all serve the enemy’s plan to keep you from a commitment to Jesus Christ. He doesn’t care at all which lie you choose as long as you are kept in bondage to this world with your eyes off of heaven and God’s promises. Just writing this truth and posting it to the world wide web makes the lawless one gnash his teeth and the angels of God cheer.

Here is the verse you want to follow as one of his beloved sheep: “Be thankful and praise the Lord as you enter his temple. The LORD is good! His love and faithfulness will last forever.” (Psalm 100:4-5)

How do you win the battle raging for your soul and keep the Lord’s glory near you? Trust the Lord in all things, never stop being grateful for all the good in your life, listen to God’s faithful servants — prophets chosen by Him, and sing his praises as you live a life of consecration, devotion and service to the great I AM. He will march in front of you, winning battle after battle for you. Arise and stand. Let the glory of the Lord shine from you as a light to the nations.

“…Listen my friends, if we trust the Lord God and believe what these prophets have told us, the Lord will help us, ad we will be successful. Then he explained his plan and appointed men to march in front of the army and praise the Lord for his holy power by singing:

‘Praise the Lord! His love never ends.’ As soon as they started singing, the Lord confused the enemy camp.” (2 Chron. 20:20-21)  Notice the verse marking: 20/20. Like 20/20 vision! Perfect eyesight consists of keeping your eyes on the Lord and continually singing His praises. This confuses the enemy/darkness…evil cannot stand against the free offer of love to our Savior through praise singing!

Only God’s Spirit can Change You into a Child of God

Do you want to be a child of God? Do you want a good, good father who wants the best for you and will love you with a supernatural, eternal love?

Jesus said to the people during His earthly visitation near 30 a.d. that “..only God’s Spirit can change you into a child of God…Only God’s Spirit gives new life.” (John 3:6,8) God is not man that he should lie. That which was truthful 2,000 years ago is still in effect today. This age, called “Grace” is when God, Jesus and Holy Spirit have been lovingly calling out to all people. “God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them!” (John 3:17)

Be special. Be chosen! Not in the temporary fleeting way the world chooses and promotes. There is no trickery here..no climbing the rungs of social and career promotion. If you choose God’s only given son as your savior, freely, a wonderful transformation occurs. He then “adopts” you into his heavenly family as a true son or daughter of the “King of King and Lord of Lords.” You become royalty, not by birth as only happens to a few on earth or in fairy tales, but by your choice! “You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9)

God is still continuously speaking to his faithful prophets! She saw them being given gloriously purple capes with John 3:16 woven into the hems in gold from their heavenly Father. World events are coming into alignment with scripture written thousands of years ago by revelation of God’s spirit. Nations are jockeying for final placement as the choices of the terminal generation unfolds before Jesus returns. I have never been given a vision of Jesus, as some have. I must wait to see Him, but oh how I long to win his approval as a faithful witness. Don’t you?
