Abomination:

When we look at the word ‘Abomination,’ we see that it represents something that is a ‘foul and detestable’ thing. The root word means to ‘abhor,’ or ‘to turn away from because of the stench.’

I believe, and it is my personal opinion, that this ‘abomination,’ spiritually speaking, is The Mark of the Beast. Just like when Antiochus Epiphanes defiled the temple with pig’s blood…… so does the ‘Mark’ defile a person’s temple, with something that is unholy, foul and detestable.

I believe that this ‘unholiness’ has its roots in ‘fallen angel’ technology, thus the ‘mixing of humans’ and the ‘fallen ones.’

Just like in the days of Noah, when the Nephilim were born from human seed, and fallen angels (Genesis 6:1-4)…. so it will be again in the Last Days. This will be the fulfillment of the ‘mixing of iron and clay toes’ that we read about in Daniel 2:41-43.

The Mark:

This ‘Mark’ will pollute and desecrate the body…. the ‘temple of GOD!’ When this happens, there will no longer be a ‘sacrifice for sin’ for that person.

It says in Hebrews 10:26-27, that, for some, there is no longer a sacrifice for sin, but judgment and raging fire:

“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.”

When the ‘Mark’ is taken, the ‘sacrifice of Jesus’ is abolished. We can see that in Daniel 12:11:

“And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.”

The words ‘daily sacrifice,’ in the verse above (מִיד, tâmı̂yd, taw-meed’), actually just means ‘continually,’ in the Strong’s Concordance.

Jesus is that Sacrifice, and His Blood continually washes us clean! (1 John 1:7)
