I heard, “Go get’em Tiger.”

Now I knew that The Holy Spirit wanted me to research tigers.  Here is why we are His Warrior “Tigers” in these last dark days.  It has to do with the EYES. “EYE OF THE TIGER”

“Beloved.  From your birth you have been Mine. I have fashioned you with My Hand.  You are My new creature in Christ Jesus.  Like the tiger’s stripes and the leopard’s spots, you are Mine down to your very DNA.

“No one or no thing can change this.  The enemy has seen and is running in terror.  This is why he is attempting to stop you, My Warrior, using every weapon in his arsenal.

“But I have made you BOLD as a Lion.  I have declared that NO weapon formed against you shall prosper.  I have given you the “EYE OF THE TIGER.”

“Whom shall you fear?  You are fierce and strong, confident in your God.  Listen not to the voices of fear.  The truth is, the enemy fears you!  He sees your EYES shining in the darkness, My Child.

“He sees My Warriors rising, intent upon My Face and My Will.  The devil sees his time is short.  He knows it is already “too late”.  My good plans for you shall stand.

“I came to destroy the works of the devil.  Fear not.  I have declared, “It is finished!”  So go forth, My Warrior, with your eyes fixed on the Prize.

Arise and shine.  Pursue, for surely you shall overtake them and without fail recover all.  You are MORE than a conqueror through Him who loves you.”

“Eye of the Tiger”:   Someone who is focused, confident, and has the look of being intense and very fierce with a never say die attitude.  The phrase refers to the fierceness and strength of the tiger. When you have the eye of the tiger, you know it. You’re unstoppable.

In the wild, seeing the “eyes” of the tiger signifies death, because right before a tiger attacks, it turns its ears forward so that the spot on the back of each ear faces nearer its prey.  The “eye spots” on the back of tigers’ ears serve to confuse predators and reduce the risk of attack from behind.  Hence, once the prey sees these “eyes”, it is already too late.

Tigers have striped skin not just striped fur.  The stripes are like fingerprints and no two tigers have the same pattern

“Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots?”  Jeremiah 13:23).

A leopard cannot change its spots and the tiger cannot change its stripes.  These metaphoric expressions both originated in an ancient Greek proverb that appears in the Bible.

Tigers:  No two tigers have the same stripes.  Since every tiger has their own pattern on their fur, they are all UNIQUE!

Unlike most big cats, tigers are powerful swimmers and have been known to swim great distances to hunt or cross rivers.  Young tigers often play in water and adults will lounge in streams or lakes to stay cool during the heat of the day.

Tigers do not live in permanent groups like lions do.  For the most part, they live solitary lives except when females are raising cubs.  Although rarely seen, the term for a group of tigers is a “Streak.”

You can hear a tiger’s ROAR from up to two miles away.  Tiger vocalizations include roaring, growling, hissing, moaning and chuffing.

Tigers are generally nocturnal hunters.  Their NIGHT VISION is up to six-times greater than ours.  But they’re also opportunists, which means they won’t pass up the chance for a daytime snack when it’s available.

A tiger’s hind legs are longer than its front legs, giving them the ability to leap forward 20-30 feet in one jump.

Tigers have large, padded, feet that make it easier for them to SILENTLY STALK their prey.

Tigers are ambush hunters preferring to sneak up on their prey before exploding into action, killing them with a bite to the neck or back of the head.  They mainly hunt deer, wild boar, buffalo and antelope.  But they’ll kill and eat what’s available, from small birds to bears to the occasional elephant.

“Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of The LORD is risen upon you…..
…. A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I The LORD will hasten it in his time,”
  Isaiah 60:1,22.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of The LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says The LORD,”   Isaiah 54:17.

“The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God,”   Psalm 104:21.

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you,”   Luke 10:19.

“So David inquired of The LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”
And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”

1 Samuel 30:8.
