Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I received this short word this morning just prior to wakefulness and it has continually been replaying in my mind and spirit. I feel led to share it with you:

“THE DAY SHALL DECLARE IT”

At first, the thought crossed my mind that something significant may happen today. Like many others, I am watching and waiting for our Lord’s soon return. Could this be ‘THE DAY’? Sure it could! But honestly, I am comforted KNOWING that He will return at His appointed time. I just endeavor to always be ready to meet Him whenever that glorious event should happen.

In researching this phrase on BibleGateway, only one verse came up with that exact phrase. It is found in

1 Corinthians 3:13.
“Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for ‘the day shall declare it,’ because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.”

I encourage you to read the entire chapter to get the full context. May the Holy Spirit reveal to each of you what He wants you to understand. I pray you have a happy Thanksgiving and may God richly bless you and your entire household.

Yours for the Harvest,

Averine

Read also 2 Peter 3:7-18 (KJV), verses 7 & 10-11 are below:

7) “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”
10) “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up, 11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation [living] and godliness.”
