Many modern women spend an extraordinary amount of effort and money trying to make themselves more attractive with the use of “sex” appeal. Resources given as gifts from god such as time and money are used not for His kingdom, but for perfect hairdo’s and styling equipment, make-up and perfume, expensive jewelry and gems, mountains of clothes — some quite suggestive and not modest — and beauty and spa treatments, not to mention gym memberships to keep that body looking fine.

Except that God, who carefully crafts each woman before she is born, is completely satisfied with a woman’s outside beauty from birth. He values a woman’s inward beauty.  What kind of special gift can you willingly give to the Lord who already has everything? 1 Peter 3: 3-4 explains God’s heart toward women. “Don’t depend on things like fancy hairdos or gold jewelry or expensive clothes to make you look beautiful. Be beautiful in your heart by being gentle and quiet. This kind of beauty will last, and God considers it very special.”

What about the beauty of holiness and consecration as a bride of Christ? How much time, effort and money are you spending preparing yourself to become more like Christ as a wedding gift for your bridegroom, Jesus Christ? All else will be left behind and not have eternal value. Also read Proverbs 31 for another description of a beautiful woman after God’s own heart.

Pastors and preachers who want to keep their congregations happy and coming back have fallen into the trap of teaching ALL AROUND THE VITAL TRUTH that there is a whole long Biblical list of those sins which will keep a person out of heaven, whether or not you claim to know who Jesus is. If you are not changing your life to one of holiness and consecration, a turning away from the sins of the world which I will list, then you do not really believe (by your own actions) that there is coming a day of judgment where our heavenly Father will be pleased with you and invite you into His kingdom, or not — with eternal consequences. also, there is a time element at work. Jesus will soon return for the estimated 10% of self-professed Christians who are 1) looking for him eagerly, and 2) about their Father’s business of mercy, kindness, love and faith without the stain of unconfessed sin.

“But all who are wicked will keep on strutting, while everyone praises their shameless deeds.” Psalm 12:8

Examine yourselves — your souls. What is the condition of your heart towards Father God? Do you yearn for Jesus, your bridegroom, to appear? Are you living a life well pleasing to Holy Spirit? Are you studying and memorizing scripture — the word of God? Do you pray constantly? Are you merciful and quick to forgive?

Your future depends on you taking a careful look at the list that follows. Do you see yourself in any of these categories? Sins can be forgiven, but you must tell God you are sorry (repent) and then CHANGE. NO CHANGE MEANS YOU ARE NOT REALLY SORRY.  GOD KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE. He reads your every thought. Taken from 1 Corinth. 6:9-10    Do you not know that the wicked (evil people) will not inherit (share in the blessings) of God’s kingdom?        DO NOT BE DECEIVED. (DON’T FOOL YOURSELVES!) NO ONE who is sexually immoral or worships idols or is unfaithful in marriage or is a pervert or behaves like a homosexual will share in God’s kingdom. Neither will any thief or greedy person or drunkard or anyone who curses and cheats others.

Each of the categories above could be broken down into many more wrong doings that would grieve Holy Spirit by dirtying your soul. So very many people claim those sins were only for then. Us “modern” people can’t really be held to these standards, can we? I have news for you. We will be held to these standards. God is holy and looking for a holy people. Our world has become so filthy dirty with sins that we can hardly recognize decent, moral behavior any more. People who follow Christ truly and fully are called names and mocked for “not being with it” or “uncool.” This deception plays right into Satan’s kingdom. Make no mistake. The Bible, God’s word which will stand forever, tells us plainly about choice and that Hell is a real place.

“But there will be rewards for those who live right and tell the truth, for those who refuse to take money by force or accept bribes, for all who hate murder and violent crimes.” Isaiah 33:15

“The god (satan) of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God,”   2 Corinthians 4:4.

Just because a person has a self-given title of pastor, priest, leader, apostle, etc. does not mean that they are fully committed to a personal relationship with God’s son for salvation, Jesus Christ. Be careful! Use Holy Spirit’s discernment. If God came tonight for His true believers, would your spiritual leader actually be among them? God examines each person’s heart and thoughts. Just working in the “religious” business for a paycheck does not make you a true follower of Jesus’ atoning work on the cross to conquer the kingdom of darkness and death.
