[Carol’s note: After reading this impassioned plea for us Christians to know our rich allegorical literature, I have ordered John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress in both its original language and in a modern translation as true to the author’s stance, I have never read it. As I am now employed at a small Christian school as their Bible teacher for 3rd-7th grade, I also have ordered

Little Pilgrim’s Progress (Illustrated) by Helen L. Taylor

which retells the classic tale but with woodland characters to make it more relatable to children. Hope this helps motivate you to find a copy and read Pilgrim’s Progress for yourself and to share its lessons for your family’s sake.]

My Spirit is Moving ~ June Sheltrown Reinke, 10/19/24

Run to Him for safety!, Not by human might or power but by MY SPIRIT says the Lord, Prophetic 2024/5784

“My Spirit is not at a standstill, but always moving,” says The LORD.

“I AM never idle. I cannot be slowed down, boxed in, delayed, or shut down. I cannot be voted out, replaced or silenced.

“I AM the creator of time, and it is completely in My control. Everything is on time. Nothing that I authorize can be removed or replaced. I did not create you to sit still until you die,” says The LORD.

“I AM moving. I AM working. I AM on task in your life,” says The LORD.

“Do not forget that your times and seasons are in My hands, and I will fulfill My plans and purposes in the exact way that I have decreed over your life, while you were yet in the womb of your mother.

“You will not fail, for I cannot fail. I have given you unspeakable gifts, and you have the power of My Spirit.

“Follow Me and move in the realm of My Spirit, and do not wait for others to follow you. Just follow Me and be faithful,” says The LORD.
