The Lord keeps warning his sons and daughters to PREPARE for the difficult times ahead. As mentioned before, I had three strong dreams of great sudden destruction hitting the land and I was not prepared. So I worked on changing that. …

Only HOLY will SEE GOD!The Door That is About to Open January 1, 2020 [ending a 20 year chapter]! ~ by Lisa Enebeli through Clay Sikes, 12/31/19
Posted: January 1, 2020 in Prophetic 2020(This prophetic piece by Lisa Enebeli is on of the most profound 2020 Prophecies I’ve ever read – it comports in perfect alignment in my spirit – Clay Sikes.)
“Over 6 years ago The LORD told me He is opening a door that is so big it is going to bring… now this past two weeks The LORD has been showing me that we are ending a 20 year chapter which The LORD has called the House of Laban (Genesis 31:38-42).
The LORD is shutting the door to the House of Laban, which is a house of affliction, injustice, and promises broken.
As I was in prayer this morning I finally saw the name on the door The LORD is about to open, you know the Isaiah 22:22 door we have been waiting for?
The name on the door that is shutting is the House of Laban and we are standing with our back to that door and the door that is about to open January 1, 2020 says House of Bethel/ House of Bread. God is about to open the House of Bread and we are going to feast on God’s word; God’s presence; God’s provision; angels ascending and descending; name changes; redemption; so many good things I can’t name them all.
We need to put off our mourning clothes and put on our dancing shoes, for this door is going to bring joy like we’ve never known before.
I see it, that is why I can say it!
The door we have waited for is the door to the House of Bread/ House of Bethel. God is doing a new thing now it springs up, do you not perceive it? (Isaiah 43:19)”
“38 These twenty years I have been with you; your ewes and your female goats have not miscarried their young, and I have not eaten the rams of your flock. 39 That which was torn by beasts I did not bring to you; I bore the loss of it. You required it from my hand, whether stolen by day or stolen by night. 40 There I was! In the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night, and my sleep departed from my eyes. 41 Thus I have been in your house twenty years; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times. 42 Unless the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now you would have sent me away empty-handed. God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked you last night,” Genesis 31:38-42.
“The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; so he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open,” Isaiah 22:22.
“Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert,” Isaiah 43:19.

I believe this coming year will be marked by opportunities, which if utilized will take us to greater heights both spiritually and naturally.
I’m going to look at signs and symbols that I believe will help guide us into the new year and beyond.
“When He [Jesus] had said this [“peace be with you”], He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw The LORD,” John 20:20
This was the first appearance of Jesus to His disciples after His resurrection from the dead. They finally could understand what it meant when in…
“Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished.
For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon. They will scourge Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.”
But they understood none of these things; this saying was hidden from them, and they did not know the things which were spoken,” Luke 18:31-34.
This year will be one when we will be able to understand many spiritual truths that have been beyond our comprehension until now.
The number 20 symbolizes expectancy. Jacob waited 20 years for his wives and property. Israel waited 20 years for deliverance to come through Sampson. Solomon waited 20 years for the completion of his building project.
2020 = 40.
- Israel spent 40 years in the wilderness.
- Moses was 40 days on the mount to receive the 10 commandments.
- Jesus was tempted in the wilderness for 40 days.
- Jesus was seen by His disciples for 40 days after His resurrection.
These were major turning points in all of those situations. This coming year may be a turning point for us in many ways.
Small Straws — These are 4 words that might represent 4 seasons of the year 2020.
1: “Find things you can take delight in so that you dwell on goodness and not sorrow. You can trust Me to bring you through every circumstance in peace,” says The LORD.
2: “You are on the path of destiny, and you will discover that weakness and failures can no longer define you. Look to the future and not to the past. I will strengthen you to overcome in the days to come.”
3: “Refuse to allow discouragement to take you off course. This year will bring definition to your hopes and dreams.”
4: “Stay alert and spiritually aware. You will not want to miss what I AM doing in your life and circumstances.”
“Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light,” Ephesians 5:14.
12 Things God showed me for 2020:
1: I saw a sign that read: “This Is The Sign You’ve Been Looking For.”
It was a big Neon sign, and I believe that the things I am about to share are things we have desired to know or need to understand that are relevant to us in the coming year.
“I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath…” Acts 2:19a.
2: I saw a myriad of emojis: Happy, sad, dismayed, outraged, clueless, bewildered, etc.
This is an indication that we will have many and varied situations that we can react to, but if we desire to respond as Jesus would, we can maintain peace. We need to strive to keep our emotions in check.
A reaction is survival-oriented and on some level a defense mechanism. It might turn out okay but often a reaction is something you regret later.
A response on the other hand usually comes more slowly. It’s based on information from both the conscious mind and unconscious mind.
3: I saw an arrow pointing to the right on a fence or a wall. If we follow Jesus, He will lead us in the way we should go. His Spirit lives in us, so we just have to pay attention and listen.
4: I saw myself standing in the entrance of a long hallway, and at the end of that hallway was a door, and the walls, floor, and ceiling created an elongated box the exact width and height of the door.
And I realized that we will be shown the way and there will be no other place to go except to the door, which has not yet opened.
“After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this,” Revelation 4:1.
“Jesus said [to him], “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me,”” John 14:6.
5: There was a person submerged in a body of water with forearm and hand extended above the surface of the water holding a lit sparkler.
I believe this was a signal of the importance of maintaining hope. We must not lose hope when we find ourselves “under water” emotionally or psychologically.
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful,” Hebrews 10:23.
6: I also saw someone holding a light bulb, and I believe it was a symbol of inspiration and ideas. The Spirit of The LORD will impart the inspiration necessary for us to fulfill His Plans and purposes for us.
The phrase comes to mind… The flow of destiny.
7: I had an aerial view of a jet that had landed in a space just big enough for it in a heavily wooded pine forest.
It looked like an impossibility that the plane could have landed there. But with God, all things are possible, and I was reminded of destiny.
God will take us to our destination no matter how difficult it looks naturally. We are in a time of destiny being fulfilled. We will land where we are supposed to be.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” Philippians 4:13.
Two separate visions were about books.
8: In the first vision someone was flipping through pages of a book, and I heard The LORD say, “Find your place.”
I believe we must find and keep our place in Christ. Any other place is temporary and unstable.
“While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal,” 2 Corinthians 4:18.
9: In the second book vision, there were many, many books opened on a table. There are lots of things to learn and understand in this coming season.
“Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way,” Psalms 119:104.
10: I also saw dozens of sharp cutting tools… knives, scissors, box cutters, and even a hatchet.
I believe this is a symbol of us being on the cutting edge or in the forefront of what God has prepared for us.
We have to stay awake, alert and ready.
“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching,” 2 Timothy 4:2.
11: I saw a sign that read: Do Something Great
We don’t have to be great on our own. The Holy Spirit is GREAT, and all we have to is stay connected…living and walking in Him!
“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit,” Galatians 5:25.
12: And, finally a beverage mug with the word, Begin. (period)
We have to take the first small step towards God and He takes a giant step toward us.
2020 = 4!
The number 4 is a number of “being”, it is the number that connects mind-body-spirit with the physical world of structure and organization.
Four symbolizes the safety and security of home, as well as stability and strength on a solid foundation of values and beliefs.
Are we ready for a number 4 year, or what?!
Recap and Conclusion — This is a year of:
- Expectation and opportunities.
- Turning points (decisive change).
- Self-control — peace.
- The flow of destiny.
- God will show us the way.
- Do not lose hope.
- We will be inspired.
- Impossibilities are possible with God.
- Find your place.
- There are lots of things to learn and understand.
- Be cutting edge by staying awake, alert and aware.
- The Spirit of The LORD will be Great in us.
Let’s Begin.
Ebenezer: Thus Far The LORD Has Brought Us! ~ by Jacob Awagah: last day of 2019
Posted: January 1, 2020 in HOPE in almighty GOD as your SHIELD from the enemy, Prophetic 2020It is the last day of 2019, and we are alive and well in Christ Jesus. Thank You, LORD!
“Ebenezer, thus far The LORD has brought us. Ebenezer, thus far The LORD has helped us! (1 Samuel 7:12).
Think about it: Just the other day, it was 1st January 2019, and now, just now, today is 31st December 2019! (The days are being shortened by The LORD for the sake of us His elect, (Matthew 24:22)).
“Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, But to Your Name give glory, because of Your mercy, because of Your truth.” Psalm 115:1.
We are BOUND, yes we are OBLIGATED to give thanks to God, (2 Thessalonians 2:13).
We ought to give thanks to The LORD God Almighty for preserving us, for protecting us, for providing for us.
Bless The LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name! Bless The LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed, (Psalms 103:1-6).
Truly, The LORD is our Ebenezer! Oh, He IS!
Ebenezer, אֶבֶן הָעֵזֶר, (‘eben hâ‛êzer, eh’-ben haw-e’-zer) means “Stone of help“, thus referring to Jesus Christ The “Living Stone”, The “Chief Cornerstone” (1 Peter 2:4-7); yes, The Stone of help to us.
Jesus said of Himself: “The stone which the builders rejected Has become The Chief Cornerstone. This was The LORD ’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes,” Matthew 21:42.
Brethren, no matter what your situation has been, or is, “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
Furthermore, we are commanded to be “giving thanks always for all things to God The Father in The Name of our LORD Jesus Christ,” (Ephesians 5:20).
Thus, we give thanks IN everything, and we give thanks FOR all things — “all things that pertain to life and Godliness,” (2 Peter 1:4).
Thanksgiving greatly pleases our God and makes Him move swiftly on our behalf.
A few years ago, I watched the testimony of a brother in an old recording of “Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural” via the ISN app. The brother, an American, was a missionary serving in Israel together with his wife. (They were a young couple).
He said they had great financial lack. But whenever they received, say, even one dollar, they spent time giving thanks to The LORD for that one dollar.
Subsequently, they needed to travel to the USA. While going, he had a call from a woman. She sounded very angry on the phone. She was commanding him not to come back to Israel, because they (the missionary couple) were disturbing them.
Who are you?
She said she was a witch, and that she and her convent were the cause of their (the missionary couple’s) financial lack.
However, every time they (the missionary couple) were thanking God fervently, their (the witches’) curses against the missionary couple did not work, but rather backfired on them.
Thanksgiving is a great spiritual weapon, mighty in God.
In Luke 17, our LORD Jesus Christ greatly emphasised the need for us to give thanks to God always.
“Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”” Luke 17:11-19.
Thanksgiving is indispensably important, both in spirit and in the flesh.
So, please, as we wrap up 2019 and enter 2020, let’s give thanks to God fervently, gratefully.
Therefore, right now, right here on this page, let us join our voices and say:
“Oh, give thanks to The LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!
For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to The LORD of lords! For His mercy endures forever: To Him who alone does great wonders, for His mercy endures forever; to Him who by wisdom made the heavens, for His mercy endures forever; to Him who laid out the earth above the waters, for His mercy endures forever; to Him who made great lights, for His mercy endures forever — the sun to rule by day, for His mercy endures forever; the moon and stars to rule by night, for His mercy endures forever.
To Him who struck Egypt in their firstborn, for His mercy endures forever; and brought out Israel from among them, for His mercy endures forever; with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, for His mercy endures forever; to Him who divided the Red Sea in two, for His mercy endures forever; and made Israel pass through the midst of it, for His mercy endures forever; but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, for His mercy endures forever; to Him who led His people through the wilderness, for His mercy endures forever; to Him who struck down great kings, for His mercy endures forever; and slew famous kings, for His mercy endures forever — Sihon king of the Amorites, for His mercy endures forever; and Og king of Bashan, for His mercy endures forever — And gave their land as a heritage, For His mercy endures forever; A heritage to Israel His servant, for His mercy endures forever.
Who remembered us in our lowly state, for His mercy endures forever; and rescued us from our enemies, for His mercy endures forever; Who gives food to all flesh, for His mercy endures forever.
Oh, give thanks to The God of heaven! For His mercy endures forever!” Psalm 136:1-26.
The Bible says that Samuel took a stone and set it up, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us…..” 1 Samuel 7:12.
Ebenezer was the very place where Israel was hitherto heavily defeated by the Philistines and The Ark of God captured (1 Samuel 4). They (the children of Israel) had been adulterous with foreign gods, worshipping demons.
But when they returned to the LORD of hosts at the judging and urging of Samuel, their place of defeat became their place of VICTORY! (Please read 1 Samuel 7:1-14).
My dear brother, my dear sister, search your heart and life.
What went wrong, what did you get wrong in 2019 (and even previously)?
Ask The LORD to reveal it to you by His Holy Spirit. (There could even be ancestral demonic covenants at play. Renounce, disallow and destroy them by The Blood of Jesus Christ).
Repent. Apply and plead The Blood of Jesus, and do not cease to cry out to The LORD.
Surely, as The LORD lives, your place of defeat will become your place of VICTORY! Hallelu-YAH!
See you next year, 2020!

“If They Will Give Me Their YES — I Will Do the Rest!” ~ by Veronika West 12/31/19 (Directions from our God for a new decade 2020 and beyond.)
Posted: December 31, 2019 in Chosen are NOT lukewarm but follow Lamb of God wherever He goes, Prophetic 2020I heard The Spirit of God say this to me today.
“Daughter, there are many in My Body who have already begun to sense and carry a tangible weightiness of My Glory that has been poured out upon the year ahead.
For the year 2020 will be a year of a greater manifestation and kingdom acceleration.
But watch and pray for My Church, as some have begun to feel overwhelmed and even ill equipped to face the days ahead.
Listen! Do you hear it? The subtle whispers of the enemy has penetrated the atmosphere.
Spirits of fear, insecurity, inadequacy and condemnation have already gone ahead to hinder, derail and delay many from stepping into the deeper realms and dimensions of my glory and wonder.
Daughter, tell My People to arise and begin to resist the voices of the familiar spirits that have been assigned to destroy their Kingdom Identity, Purpose and Destiny.
Tell My mighty Warriors to be of good courage and if they will give me their “yes” I will do the rest.
I will show them that I AM that I AM. I will demonstrate My Power and My Majesty in the midst of their radical obedience, sacrifice and total surrender, yes!
For I have chosen, anointed and appointed them for Kingdom advancement in the earth, for such a time as this….” says The Spirit of God.

(In 2020 and beyond) TWO OPPOSING COMPANIES OF PROPHETS ARE ARISING IN THE BODY OF CHRIST – A Prophetic Word – Patricia King – December 23, 2019
Posted: December 31, 2019 in DANGER from satan: your soul's enemy...counterfeit mimicry of Creator God, Prophetic 2020, Supernatural Provisions & God's Chosen End-Time Hidden Sanctified PeopleGod is raising up a large company of powerful prophets in this hour to prepare the Bride of Christ. Simultaneously, Satan, who will always counterfeit what is true, is raising up his company of prophets to prepare his bride. [There are two prophetic companies being released in this hour. God’s prophets and Jezebel’s. Which mandate will you serve? Which voice will you obey? Whose prophet will you be?] –([last paragraph of this prophetic word to contemplate as you read and choose)
GOD’S PROPHETS:
This massive company of prophets empowered and released by the Spirit of God in this hour are marked by their unwavering commitment of love, worship, and devotion to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They are committed to righteousness and truth and they boldly speak the truth in love without fear or compromise. They love their God and are willing to lay their lives down for Him and for His Bride. They do not love the world filled with its pride and anti-Christ values and neither do they give themselves to the lusts of their own flesh. Their desire is to please the One who has marked and sent them. They have prepared their lives in purity and truth and are set apart for His purposes alone. They are clothed in righteousness and have been granted authority by God Himself to establish truth in the midst of an evil day.
WHAT A GLORIOUS COMPANY!
This new company of prophets emerging in this hour have laid down their own agenda and are committed to selflessly and fully obeying all the Lord assigns them. They do not love money and are void of greed. They do not desire the limelight and are pleased to be hidden from the praise and accolades of man. They do not use others for their own gain or fulfillment. They are not concerned for their own reputation but rather, live to glorify Christ alone. As Christ they are commissioned not to be served but to serve. They are abandoned lovers, righteous radicals, who are fully surrendered to their King.
THEY ARE NOT BENT
This company of prophets will not bend to evil. They will stand unwavering in the midst of a dark and corrupt world. They will stand strong in the midst of temptation as Joseph did in the midst of Egypt. They will resist corruption and compromise as Daniel did in the midst of Babylon. They will confront error with bold, unwavering truth as Elijah did when masses of his own people had turned to worship false gods under the influence of wicked leaders.
PERSECUTIONS
As prophets of old, this company will know persecution and opposition. They will be called religious and legalistic by many even though they are sent by God to speak the truth in love. And like Elijah some will be called “troublers”. Like John the Baptist, some might lose their lives and their reputations. Like Jeremiah, some might be imprisoned and beaten, but none of this will make them bend. They will stand. They will not waver. They live to fulfill the desires of their king and are willing to lay down everything to fulfill this purpose. They fear God and not man.
Many will be powerfully impacted by this company of prophets and will turn to the Lord in full repentance as they did in the days of John the Baptist. They will be awakened and empowered with the Holy Spirit as they respond to the words of alignment brought by these prophets. The eyes of many will be opened to realms of glory they have never experienced previously through the revelation brought forth by these prophets.
KNOWN BY THE LOVE AND GRACE THAT FILLS THEM
These prophets will be known for being filled with grace as they deliver truth. They will not deliver words from an angry or aggravated heart but from a heart of compassion, and mercy. They are intercessors who cry out for those who are held captive by the enemy. They are compelled by love. These attributes are the indicators of this company. If they lack love, compassion, and mercy then they are not of this company.
THE SWORD OF TRUTH – GOD’S PLUMBLINE
A divine plumbline has been released from heaven into the earth: it is the Sword of Truth. This sword is a two-edged sword. It represents both the kindness and severity of God. These prophets will call forth alignment to this plumbline as God prepares His glorious Bride. She is making herself ready.
JEZEBELIC PROPHETS ARISING:
Simultaneously, as God is releasing His prophets in this hour to proclaim His truth and righteousness, the enemy will raise up a counterfeit prophetic voice that will attempt to seduce the people of God away from true holiness and from the truth revealed in the Word. This company will proclaim destructive heresies (2 Peter 2:1). They will excuse and make light of sinful activities and behaviors and at times will even promote these behaviors by perverting the Word of God as a confirmation of license for such behaviors. Satan has a bride he is preparing. This bride loves his ways by choosing to accept his temptations and manifest his fallen nature without repentance or remorse. His bride is in love with what he loves – the evil deeds of the flesh. She is identified through these manifest behaviors.
Jezebelic prophets will attempt to lead God’s people astray. God gives warning regarding this company of prophets in Revelation as He addresses the church regarding “…that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess… “ Revelation 2:20. In this portion God describes the characteristics of this false prophetic voice as one who teaches and seduces His servants to “commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.”
The earth is currently flooded with sexual immorality and it is filling the church. The Jezebelic prophetic voice has been loudly proclaiming sexual perversion to the masses through media especially and many in the church have bought into the compromise – unfortunately, they are eating from the table of idols.
Jezebelic prophets also use their authority to control, manipulate, and spiritually abuse.
PETER DESCRIBES THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THESE FALSE PROPHETS:
2 Peter 2:9-10, 12-15, 18-19 NKJV
9 The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries…
12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption,
13 and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you,
14 having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children.
15 They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; …
18 For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.
JUDE ALSO DESCRIBES THIS COMPANY:
Jude 1:16-19 NKJV
16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.
17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:
18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.
19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
In the days of Elijah, Ahab and Jezebel turned a nation to worship sexual deities (Baal and Asherah) by using their spiritual authority to manipulate and control the mindsets of the people. They also cruelly persecuted the prophets who challenged this idolatry.
In this day, Jezebelic prophets will attempt to control others by abusing their prophetic authority to fulfill personal agendas and to allure many believers into the snare of ungodly perversions. Beware of false prophetic voices who turn people away from the Lord and approve of or make light of unrighteous conduct. Beware also of false prophetic voices that stir up self-effort and religious performance in order to please God. Beware of the false prophetic voices whose words are threaded with condemnation, shame, blame, fear and control.
The true prophetic voice will call you in love to walk in beautiful Light by speaking the truth of who God has called you to be. When you hear the truth, you will say, “Yes, that is who I am.” The words of the true prophets will cause you to see yourself in the Light of His truth. As you see the truth, Christ’s life in you, you will walk it out – you will live it out…by faith.
CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE
It is time for us all to choose whom we will serve. We are living in a critical hour. It is an hour when lawlessness is increasing and many people’s love is turning cold. Some are turning away from the Lord their God in order to pursue the pleasures of the flesh. It is time to choose.
Elijah confronted the people in his day inviting them to choose the Lord:
1Kings 18:21 NKJV
And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.”
Joshua spoke to the people in his day also:
Joshua 24:15 NKJV
“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
TIME TO DECIDE:
It is time for you to make a decision that will have eternal ramifications! The Holy Spirit is giving a glorious invitation not only to follow Him with all your heart, mind and strength by His wonderful grace, but also to be His voice in this hour.
There are two prophetic companies being released in this hour. God’s prophets and Jezebel’s. Which mandate will you serve? Which voice will you obey? Whose prophet will you be?

You can give a goat to change the life of a family like Patience’s in Uganda. Learn how a Ugandan family’s entire livelihood was transformed by livestock given. Find out how to be a change agent to break the chains of poverty for children in 2020!
Posted: December 30, 2019 in Prophetic 2020Have you ever wondered what actually happens when you give a goat to charity? Learn how a Ugandan family’s entire livelihood was transformed by livestock given through Compassion’s Gift Catalog.

When you give a goat through the Compassion Gift Catalog, how exactly does a goat get to a child in need? And, more important, how does it really help?
It’s a common question from gift catalog shoppers — and not just about goats. Whether you donate a mosquito net, water well, Bibles or any other catalog gifts that help people in need, the actual gifts are bought and distributed by the local church workers who serve kids in Compassion-assisted child development centers. These staff and volunteers live and work in the same communities as sponsored children. They get to know each child on a personal level and understand what would best help the children’s families.
Goats are a powerful (and cute) example of how giving through the Compassion Gift Catalog can change the story for a family living in poverty.
Like Patience’s family.

The 10-year-old girl lives in a rural area of Uganda with her parents and siblings. She goes to a Compassion center based at a church down a long dirt road from her home. The meals she eats there have always been a big relief for her parents, especially since a drought in Uganda has made crops much harder to grow in recent years. Patience’s parents couldn’t even grow enough food to feed themselves — let alone extra to sell for income.
“We didn’t have a lot in terms of harvests, in terms of clothing, in terms of medical care,” says Patience’s mom, Dinah. “We basically didn’t have anything. But when they took on Patience [in Compassion’s program], we got relief.”
To make the family’s situation more pressing, Dinah had newborn twins.
“I gave birth to them during the drought, which was all over the media — a very difficult time with no food, with a lot of sunshine,” she says. “It was a very difficult Caesarean.”
Dinah’s recovery from the birth was slow. She wasn’t getting the nutrients she needed, and she wasn’t producing enough breastmilk to feed her baby girls. “Initially, I would buy milk if I had money,” she says. “But if I did not have money, I’d just give them porridge without any milk, which was very difficult for them.”
Dinah despaired as her husband searched for work in their village.
But one day the director of Patience’s Compassion center visited with joyful news.

Using donations given through Compassion’s Gift Catalog, he was able to buy goats for their family and others in their community who had the greatest need. And to make sure the animals made the biggest possible impact, the church would provide training to all goat recipients.
Patience’s family received four pregnant goats, and Dinah began going to the training course and passing along all she learned to the rest of her family.
“I learned quite a number of things,” Dinah recalls. “I learned to feed them well. I learned to vaccinate them so that the ticks do not make them sick. I learned to give them salt, because it is valuable for their health. And I also learned we need to keep washing them so that they keep healthy.”
With the help of church workers, the family built a wooden pen for the goats, dug a compost pit where goat manure would be used to make fertilizer, and started grazing the animals on a schedule. Soon each goat gave birth to one kid.
Patience helps care for the growing herd. “If we are going to leave home for the whole day, we leave them with peelings for them to eat,” she says. “We get manure from the goats. We apply the manure in our coffee plantations, and then when the coffee grows well, we sell the coffee.”
But the goats produced so much more than a great fertilizer. With their milk, Dinah was able to supplement her breast milk to feed the twins. As the goat herd grew stronger, so did the twins — now healthy toddlers. Their father tends to the flourishing banana and coffee crops, which he now sells for a steady income.
“I want to thank the people who gave us the goats,” Dinah says. “We have looked after the goats, and we have gotten a huge relief. I believe if other families get goats, they would also be as relieved as we are.”
That’s the power of giving a goat.
Whether you give a goat or another gift through Compassion’s Gift Catalog, you can trust that the church workers who partner with Compassion will know exactly how to use it to best serve children. Giving a gift without seeing the actual receiving of the gift requires an act of faith, but that faith generates limitless possibilities in the lives of the families Compassion serves. Is there any better gift than that?

(Carol’s note: If you want your goat to go to a certain child, you would first have to choose and sponsor them for $38/month, then send a family gift of money so a goat could be purchased for that specific family. That is what I do. There is great joy in hearing the links of poverty’s chains breaking because of small acts of kindness!)

(Don’t we all need to be reminded of this promise as we begin a new decade?) Read: “You are resilient and stronger than you know!” – Angie Stolba, 12/29/19
Posted: December 29, 2019 in Choosing righteousness over worldliness is a CHOICE!, Prophetic 2020The Lord is saying today, “You are resilient and stronger than you know! Yes, the trials are intense right now as you pass through the narrow way, but know that you are coming through to the other side. You will exit this tight space and find that you’ve emerged into a completely new place: a broad, beautiful, spacious place! Truly, everywhere your foot treads, I am giving you the land (Joshua 1:3).

“The enemy has relentlessly placed pressure and opposition on both your promise and present circumstances as you’ve quickly approached the new year. Yet I say, ‘Who can stop the Lord Almighty?’ Nothing and no one can stop the tidal wave of my blessing and favor that is about ready to be lavished upon you.”
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name (Revelation 3:8).
“Keep moving forward, My Beloved; you’ve come too far to quit now. I know that you feel weary and have little strength, but truly your reward is upon you. I am promoting you in this very hour! You will go into the new year celebrating, dancing, and declaring My praise as you tell of the wonders I’ve done. I am good and I am faithful, and I will not fail you,” says the Lord of Hosts!
On the glorious splendor of Your majesty
And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.
Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts,
And I will tell of Your greatness.
They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness
And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness (Psalm 145:5-7).
