12-5-16 @ waking: Message delivered by Michael (the angel, I assume): “Time to trim your wicks and get your lamps ready.”

I’m thinking adding Matthew 25: 1-13 to our daily devotional readings and collective memories would also be a good idea since I woke this morning to the phrase, “Time to trim your wicks and get your lamps ready.” Message delivered by Michael. I was struck by what an old-fashioned term “trim your wicks” was and instantly knew this referred to the wise and foolish women waiting for their bridegroom (Jesus). We do indeed need to stop arguing over small points of doctrine (like the logs in our eyes which need to be removed) and draw close to our Lord for all time and pray that we are worthy with clean hands and a pure heart of love for those around us — both the lovely and unlovable. Supernatural Oil is added to our lamps only by God’s grace and how we are spending our time and devotion while waiting for our bridegroom, Jesus Christ.

Only half the people waiting for Jesus were ready (5 of 10) with fresh oil in their lamps. Your burning unction daily should be to drop all distractions calling you away from your first love, Jesus Christ. One day soon we’ll see his face…no more pain and suffering..love will have won…but only if you are ready. Measure everything on your daily “to-do” list with this phrase burning through your hearts and minds “Time to trim your wicks and get your lamps ready.”

In 2016, Hanukkah begins at sundown on Christmas Eve. This is a conjunction of the miracle celebration of consecrated oil being found for temple ceremonies with the Christian holiday of Christmas — the day God became the light of the world in flesh as Jesus Christ…They had to trim their wicks and get their lamps ready!! Coincidence? We’ll see at this month unfolds.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams,” Act 2:17.

“Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in vision, and I speak to him in a dreams,” Numbers 12:6.

“Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel saying, “Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you,” Jeremiah 30:2.

“In the towns where Jesus had worked MOST of HIS MIRACLES the people REFUSED TO TURN TO GOD. So Jesus was upset with them.” (Matthew 11:20) Talk about exasperating and infuriating! Can you imagine? God’s son, Jesus, leaves his majestic heaven and has come to earth to offer Father’s salvation. By now, the people have already personally witnessed him heal the blind, make the lame to walk, healed the skin-eating destructive disease of leprosy, open deaf ears so they could hear talking, music and laughter, and people who have ceased to live and breathe (the dead) have been raised back to life. (paraphrase of Matthew 11: 4-5)

Then the people seem to think, well that is all well and good, but what else do you have to convince us? We’d like to see you transformed right here. We would like certainty to replace faith. But — Where would be the reward in that? It would be like if God, today in 2016-17, began to write in the clouds: “Attention please! I AM is god. JESUS IS MY SON. Holy Spirit is our comforter. The BIBLE is my truth. Believe in me now as I have plainly written this for you.” So then the people would believe and say, “Finally, you have taken out the faith factor, and I will believe you because I must. I cannot doubt any more. I don’t need faith for what is plainly revealed.”

BUT…God is looking for a people who believe without seeing. His blessing and favor rests on those who believe his Holy scripture and first-hand accounts of the apostles and prophets, but have not seen Jesus in the first century as he walked the earth for 33 years. Over and over the Bible offers blessings for faith.

Who Can Take Away Your Sins? Where can forgiveness be found?

If bedrock truth is that we all sin, where then can forgiveness be found? Are we to be left as hopeless sinners? We live; we die; we go down to the world of the dead?

No! Thankfully our merciful God provided a way out. Two thousand years ago, as John the Baptist (because he baptized people in the Jordan River to prepare a path before the coming savior) saw Jesus walking towards him along the river bank said, “…Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29) God knew before the foundation of the world that man would sin, fall and need redemption. Jesus was with Father God even then. This plan is woven throughout the whole Holy Bible. Jesus’ arrival is told through the old testament prophets and psalms. God provided his own sacrificial lamb that whosoever believes in him would be saved….not punished as we deserve. Hurray, hurrah….praise our merciful Lord!

Error: People can be saved after they die by baptizing them. With great heartbreak, I must report that one only gets their time on earth to choose. Relatives can not save them if they have died unrepentant in their sins. There is a law called personal choice and responsibility. A major modern religion (one that was created in the last 200 years) erroneously promotes this lie as truth.

Error: Priests, Pastors (men and women) can forgive your sins. Only God can forgive sins. I recently read of a major world religion that is going to give its priest the power to forgive abortion (the willful removal of human life from inside the mother before live birth). God provided a really narrow bridge from humanity to himself called JESUS CHRIST. You cannot build a ladder tall enough to reach heaven with your man-made redemption plans. You must walk the bridge God provided. He will forgive your sins, including abortion, if you humbly admit that you are a sinner in need of a savior. You must then REPENT and turn away from that which is named Biblical sin.

Error: I can receive Jesus Christ as my savior and continue on selfishly building my own earthly kingdom, being distracted from soul-winning and ignoring the needs of the poor, widowed, orphaned, persecuted and lonely while I work and scheme to acquire wealth and possessions (commonly called the Prosperity Gospel). God called us to have a broken heart for lost sinners, orphans, widows, persecuted believers, the poor and the lost. We are called to lay down our own earthly kingdom-building lives and concentrate on our King’s heavenly kingdom business. This is where rewards that last for eternity will be found.

Try listening to Zach William’s “Chain Beaker” anointed worship song which speaks of a better life, away from pain and feeling lost. Jesus gives freedom and the breaking of all chains of sin that entangle. Trust God above with your precious soul which will go on for eternity. The only question at all is WHERE WILL YOUR SOUL LIVE?

TRUTH: “The day is coming (at your body’s physical death) when God will judge all of us. In the Scriptures God says, ‘I swear by my very life that everyone will kneel down and praise my name!’ And so, each of us must give an account to God for what we do.” (Romans 14: 10-12) Satan is a defeated foe. Even he, at the end of what we on earth refer to as “time” will bow and admit that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Satan accuses the brethren..his plan is simple and effective…tell you believable lies…confuse you… and lead you off as his slave

I have truthful, bad news for you. You are a slave of sin. Satan tells lies in your ears day and night and then takes you as his trophy at life’s end. He bides his time well and triumphs in your despairing death. Another soul. Another slave for his diabolical kingdom. He hates what God loves, and that is mankind. All humans draw their daily breath from Father God, so Satan desires that we would all stop breathing without the saving knowledge that God created each of us lovingly.

Satan also desires us to not think for ourselves, and that we would not search out the truth. He has craftily devised distractions aplenty…enough to last a lifetime. DO NOT GIVE SATAN YOUR SOUL BY TURNING AWAY FROM GOD’S SON, JESUS, WHO DESIRES THE OPPOSITE: PEACE, JOY, LOVE, HOPE, PURPOSE, ETERNITY SPENT WITH FATHER GOD.

You have been given free-will as a gift. TO NOT CHOOSE IS TO CHOOSE! Time is ticking and trickling and rushing by. Run, rush, flee to God’s side. Accept Holy Spirit…break off those chains that bind and entangle…pray and turn away from your sins…repent…stop scoffing…before it is too late. People get ready. Jesus is really coming back. He will return triumphantly, and you want to be on the winning side.

The invisible, spiritual realm is really reality. This that you see with your earthly eyes is like a stage play…not the real action. It is the short time you are given to choose sides. Some more — some less. When a sinner turns from death to life, angels rejoice, heaven sings and your soul is safe FOR ALL TIME with Father God, who created you for fellowship and worship. Turn away from the devil’s plans to enslave you and choose the great I AM — lover of your soul. There is no peace in this world of turmoil unless your spirit is safely in God’s care.

Idols are Nothing & Powerless…to worship them would be disgusting

From the mouth of God: “You idols are nothing, and you are powerless. To worship you would be disgusting. Worshipers of idols comfort each other saying, ‘Don’t worry!’ (Makers of idols) encourage one another and say ‘We’ve done a great job!’ Then they (human hands) nail the idol down, so it won’t fall over.” (Isaiah 41: 24 & 6-7)

Then the Lord who exists outside of time and space as a trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit offers a challenge (using the eternal “we”) —

“…Come argue your case with me. Present your evidence. Come near me, you idols. Tell us about the past and we will think about it. Tell us about the future so we will know what is going to happen. Prove that you are gods by making your predictions come true. Do something good or evil, so we can be amazed and terrified. None of these idols are able to give advice or answer questions.” (Isaiah 41: 21-23, 28)

Only God knows the future with certainty and can predict what will happen in human history. He has given us the future within his written word, commonly called the Holy Bible, so you don’t even have to leave your intelligence “at the door” as nonbelievers accuse. Jesus is the spirit of revelation. He has been chosen, as God’s only son, to reveal truth to the human race. Earnestly seek Him, and He will be found. Limit seeking after worldly distractions. His love is devoted. He desires a covenant relationship with humanity…one where we freely choose to love and honor him. Faith as an offering to Him who created and owns the universe. A free-will offering of your heart, soul, mind and strength. A recent U.S. presidential candidate used the slogan “I’m with her.” I prefer not to put my precious gift of faith and hope in any person who themselves has been given their life and breath only through the gracious gift of Father God. I myself prefer an eternal perspective and choice where I firmly state before the Throne of God at life’s end, while pointing over at the Lamb of God, Jesus my mediator, and proclaiming in a loud, clear voice, “I’m with Him.”

With Shasta Lake in the background, this group praises the only, living, eternal God of the universe by saying, “Your praise will ever be on my lips.” This is how I want God to think of me. Praising him with angels and saints who sing “worthy are you, Lord!” Do not waste another second on idolatry, disbelief and arrogant rebellion. Return to your creator. He who loves you and wishes you to join Him in heaven for eternity.

There is true joy available through deep faith in God’s prophetic utterances. They world offers poor substitutes of fleeting “happy” moments. The world rushes about looking for that next mountaintop “high” experience, but it remains tantalizingly out of reach because God is not part of daily life.

Remember: if you freely choose the Lord while you still have breath to do so – “The Lord your God wins victory after victory and is always with you. He celebrates and sings because of you, and he will refresh your life with his love.” (Zephaniah 3:17) (Contemp. Eng. Ver)

“Yahweh your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will bring you quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy.” Zephaniah 3:17

Turn to the LORD! He can still be found. Call out to God! He is near.

Turn to the LORD! He can still be found. Call out to God! He is near. Give up your crooked ways and your evil thoughts Return to the LORD our God. He will be merciful and forgive your sins. (Isaiah 55:6-7) When world events become supernaturally “impossible” in the natural, remember the Lord is getting ready to step back into HIStory (His story) in an unmistakable way. He is offering you full forgiveness of your sins. God says, “Respect the Sabbath (His day of rest), obey me completely, and keep our agreement. Then I will set up monuments in my temple with your names written on them…” (Isaiah 56:4-5)

Let the truth of his sacrifice cause your spirit to soar. He is alive and we can be made new and alive in Him, to serve and reign forever in heaven. Hallelujah….Maranatha…God with us…wonderful counselor…mighty savior. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Be grafted into God’s family, his kingdom, to be called sons and daughters of the Most High.

“The LORD said: Be honest and fair! Soon I will come to save you; my saving power will be seen everywhere on earth. I will bless everyone who respects the Sabbath and refuses to do wrong.” (Isaiah 56: 1-2)

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name, Be joyful in You. (Psalm 5:11)

Truth = You know the Lord is God! He created us, and we belong to him

Was your birth accidental? Are you part of some evolutionary process? Are humans becoming better and better until they achieve a god consciousness? Will technology mixed with the human genome create a race of super-humans?

As always, the truth is found in God’s word: “You know the Lord is God! He created us, and we belong to him; we are his people, the sheep in his pasture.” (Psalm 100:3) So, no. We are only created by the Lord. All other processes and the gene splicing of humans with animals and robotics going on in labs around the world is not of the Lord. These tinkerers have fooled themselves into believing that they can create life. Satan has no creative ability, however. He just counterfeits what truly belongs to the Lord, which is human conception.

“Love the Lord and hate evil! God protects his loyal people and rescues them from violence.” (Psalm 97:10)

The day will arrive when God separates humans into only 2 groups, no more. He will put His people, the sheep, on his right unto salvation, and the goats, those who stubbornly refused His outstretched hand of salvation for arrogance and rebellion, on the left. Today, right now, you can still choose to become one of His “sheep” of your own free will. Imagine the terror and dread when the choosing time is over and you stand trembling before your maker with no excuse, no Jesus, no salvation. “Those who brag about the useless idols they worship are (will be) terribly ashamed, and all the false gods bow down to the Lord.” (Psalm 97:7)

How will you know if you have been tricked by a false or counterfeit god or christ-wannabe? God’s word provides the answer, as always. If anyone claims that Jesus Christ is not the true Savior of this world, or only sent son of God, he/she is a liar.” Period, end of sentence. God created a very narrow gateway to his eternal Kingdom named Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior. Enter into the narrow gate for wide is the gate to destruction and ruin.

Satan, the enemy of your soul, will do ANYTHING to keep you away from God’s truth. Distractions, pleasures, lies, lures, power, position, chasing after monetary wealth, cults, evolution all serve the enemy’s plan to keep you from a commitment to Jesus Christ. He doesn’t care at all which lie you choose as long as you are kept in bondage to this world with your eyes off of heaven and God’s promises. Just writing this truth and posting it to the world wide web makes the lawless one gnash his teeth and the angels of God cheer.

Here is the verse you want to follow as one of his beloved sheep: “Be thankful and praise the Lord as you enter his temple. The LORD is good! His love and faithfulness will last forever.” (Psalm 100:4-5)

Only God’s Spirit can Change You into a Child of God

Do you want to be a child of God? Do you want a good, good father who wants the best for you and will love you with a supernatural, eternal love?

Jesus said to the people during His earthly visitation near 30 a.d. that “..only God’s Spirit can change you into a child of God…Only God’s Spirit gives new life.” (John 3:6,8) God is not man that he should lie. That which was truthful 2,000 years ago is still in effect today. This age, called “Grace” is when God, Jesus and Holy Spirit have been lovingly calling out to all people. “God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them!” (John 3:17)

Be special. Be chosen! Not in the temporary fleeting way the world chooses and promotes. There is no trickery here..no climbing the rungs of social and career promotion. If you choose God’s only given son as your savior, freely, a wonderful transformation occurs. He then “adopts” you into his heavenly family as a true son or daughter of the “King of King and Lord of Lords.” You become royalty, not by birth as only happens to a few on earth or in fairy tales, but by your choice! “You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9)

God is still continuously speaking to his faithful prophets! She saw them being given gloriously purple capes with John 3:16 woven into the hems in gold from their heavenly Father. World events are coming into alignment with scripture written thousands of years ago by revelation of God’s spirit. Nations are jockeying for final placement as the choices of the terminal generation unfolds before Jesus returns. I have never been given a vision of Jesus, as some have. I must wait to see Him, but oh how I long to win his approval as a faithful witness. Don’t you?

Jesus has won the victory…His name IS victory! Why?

Christ’s name is victory!

Why worship him?

He only “borrowed” a grave for 3 partial days while he visited hell to claim his victory over death. He did not stay in the grave but was resurrected by God. He sits at the right hand of Father God today and is present on earth every day — all the time still.
He is not a fallible man, but the sinless son of God. Other world religions want you to follow the teachings of a mere human. Mormonism’s Joseph Smith, Buddhism’s Buddha, Islam’s Mohammed, Scientology’s L. Ron Hubbard have never been proven to be more than revered humans. They are buried and gone, never to return to earth. They do not walk amongst us today. In the end, they were not victorious over the grave.
Jesus values each and every one of us equally and sees value in us individually. We aren’t a huge crowd or ethnicity to him. Today’s elite have a nickname for those that aren’t them: Worthless Eaters. That is because the individual is not revered as specially created by God with intrinsic worth as the creation of His hand. Biometrics just adds more reason to believe that we are all special individuals; we all have distinguishable fingerprints and retina prints. We are not lost in the crowd to Jesus. He longs that each of us would turn from our arrogant unbelief and accept his free offer of salvation while it is still available.
He freely gives us Holy Spirit as our guide to holiness and comforter. He helps us pray when we are so troubled or unsure of what to even pray. Accepting Jesus has changed countless lives from evil or addictive behavior…causing astonishing change in direction. People who follow Jesus are able to walk away from their broken chains that Satan coiled around them…supernatural power from God becomes available as sons and daughters of God. Suddenly, Holy Spirit’s “fruits” of love, peace, joy, faithfulness, patience and long-suffering towards others begin to manifest.
His love is devoted and enduring. He offers mercy and faithfulness. He pledges himself to us. He takes away guilt and shame and replaces them with salvation. He offers an unbreakable covenant with the people of earth.
HE’S COMING BACK FOR A PEOPLE CONSECRATED TO HIM…THAT WAIT AND WATCH FOR THEIR MESSIAH’S RETURN. Read and understand this truth from the last book and chapter of the Bible, Revelation 22: 12-17 “Then I (Christ’s apostle John) was told: I am coming soon! And when I come, I will reward everyone for what they have done. I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. God will bless all who have washed their robes (accepted salvation through Jesus’ atonement on the cross). They will each have the right to eat fruit from the tree that gives life, and they can enter the gates of the city. But outside the city will be dogs, witches, immoral people, murderers, idol worshipers, and everyone who loves to tell lies and do wrong.” I am Jesus! And I am the one who sent my angel to tell all of you these thiings for the churches. I am David’s Great Descendant, and I am also the bright morning star. The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Everyone who hears this should say, “Come!” If you are thirsty (for God’s righteousness), Come! If you want life-giving water, come and take it. It’s free!“
Jesus is part of the great I AM. Present with God from before the foundation of the earth. In Genesis, at creation, the word “We” is used instead of the singular “I.” Throughout the Old and New Testament, God refers to himself as “I AM.” This follows all the way through Jesus’ earthly life where he left heaven and dwelt among us to offer a personal, one-on-one salvation, so that the term “I AM” is also used to describe him through the last book and chapter of God’s Holy Bible — his living word left for us to follow.

How much time and effort are you spending studying your options for where you will spend eternity? This should be a person’s life-long study. Since this life is brief at best when compared to the endless time of forever, you should be diligently sifting through evidence looking for truth. So many people casually throw away God without hardly a glance at all the lives transformed by the power of God’s Holy Spirit.

“Fools have no desire to learn; they would much rather give their own opinion.” Proverbs 18:2. I am deeply worried by everyone who thinks highly of their own opinion and degrees of higher learning who have chosen to believe the lie that God is not real without really studying and discovering the overwhelming truth that He is indeed real. “Saying foolish things is lie setting a trap to destroy yourself.” Proverbs 18:7. Try reading a book like Impact Africa: Demonstrations of the Real Power of Jesus Christ Today compiled by Daniel Kolenda, evangelist and President of Christ for all Nations (CfaN) before you dismiss God’s healings, deliverances and salvation of souls in modern times. It’s much easier to dismiss something you have not really studied in depth. What are you occupying your time with that could be more important than where you will spend eternity?

All the truth you would ever need to believe in God’s plan for planet earth, and that Jesus Christ existed when the world was created and was sent at just the right time to intersect humanity and offer a plan of salvation, and Holy Spirit infilling believers from Christ’s resurrection in approximately 32 a.d. to now for a continual stream of salvation, deliverance and healings is readily available in books, CDs, audios, DVDs and online blogs and media sites. Dismissing God out of hand is arrogance and rebellion. You don’t really want to believe, repent and change your ways, so you do not investigate. “It’s stupid and embarrassing to give an answer before you listen. The rich think their money is a wall of protection.” (Proverbs 18, 13, 11)

You are going to want to have Jesus Christ on your side, as an advocate for your soul before almighty God on the day when EVERYONE (rich, poor, humble, evil, good, lazy, sloppy, intelligent, etc.) is judged. Your whole life is being recorded. You will see the opportunities you passed by to know God intimately. Your own words and actions will condemn you without Jesus to defend you. The most chilling words in all the universe are recorded in God’s Holy Bible when Jesus says, “I never knew you.” Start researching today, this minute, as if your eternal soul, that which lives on when your body-covering mortal body dies, depends on it because this is truth.

Jesus spoke to the people of his day, condemning them for unbelief even after many miracles of healing had been performed in their towns: “If the miracles that took place in your towns had happened in Tye and Sidon, the people there would have turned to God long ago…do you thin you will be honored in heaven? You will go down to hell! If the miracles that took place in your town had happened in Sodom, that town would still be standing. So I tell you that on the day of judgment the people of Sodom will get off easier than you.” Matthew 21-24
