Psalm 91, God’s Prescription for you

I live in the shelter of the Most High
I am under His shadow.

This I declare about The LORD:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety.
He is my God, and I trust Him.

For He will rescue me from every trap
and protect me from deadly disease.
His faithful promises are my armour and protection.

I will not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.

I will not dread the disease that stalks in the darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

Though a thousand fall at my side,
though ten thousand are dying around me,
these evils will not touch me.

When I open my eyes,
I see how the wicked are punished.

Because I make The LORD my refuge,
Because I make the Most High my shelter,

No evil will conquer me;
no plague will come near my home.

For He will order His angels
to protect me wherever I go.

They will hold me up with their hands
so I won’t even hurt my foot on a stone.

I’ll trample upon lions and cobras;
I’ll crush fierce lions and serpents under my feet!

The LORD says,
“I will rescue those who love Me.
I will protect those who trust in My name.
When they call on Me, I will answer;
I will be will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
I will reward them with long life
and give them My salvation.”

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
²I will say of The LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”
³Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. ⁴He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
⁵You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, ⁶Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
⁷A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. ⁸Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.

“You will be full of blessings, contentment, and furnished unto every good work that I have ordained for your life.

“I AM your life, and there is life in you as you partake of My Word. It will not fail, and neither will you. Every promise will be fulfilled, and you will be blessed to become a conduit of blessings,” says The LORD.

“Believe every promise, and watch it happen right before your very eyes,” says The LORD.

“Others will mock you and scorn you, but don’t let that stop you! They will put their hands over their mouths when they see the fulfillment of those thing I have promised you.

“You will not be disappointed. You will be an example of what My Word will accomplished and your life will BECOME that written Word that will impact the lives of others who will not be able to resist the truth that will be displayed in your life, because you have put MY WORD first, and honored me with your faith that will be fully rewarded,” says The LORD.

Time to Shift our Focus ~ by Junu Thomas, 1/22/21

The LORD showed me during prayer there is currently an extremely dry and oppressive desert like wind of discouragement and disappointment unleashed against believers from the evil one.

This hot wind in this spirit will make you weary and leave you depleted off any energy. The devil is using this to shipwreck the faith of many by getting them to continue to dwell on the elections and recent events.

As Albert Einstein once said “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”

It’s time to move on and get our focus back on God.

You are not going to solve any problem by continuing to think about events that transpired. Instead as written in Matthew 6:33 — “Seek first the Kingdom of GOD and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.”

So the solution and breakthrough that you are looking for is only going to come when you shift your focus back on the Kingdom and get back on track with your first love; your relationship with your Maker.

As Apostle Paul warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:3 — “I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.”

Nothing and no one should be allowed to come in between our devotion and relationship with God.

The predicament and mental state many Christians are in currently is one of confusion and disillusionment.

They were hoping for something in December, then in January and now still waiting for other man made timeline.

But you are setting up yourselves for disappointment when you put expectations on how God works. Learn to let go and let God.

The current events are very similar to the narrative we see with the disciples of Christ surrounding His crucifixion. The disciples were devastated when things didn’t work out the way they thought it would with Jesus.

They thought the Messiah was going to overthrow the Roman government with military power and then HE will reign over Israel. They were expecting a physical miracle and manifestation in the natural realm.

But little did they know at that time, God’s Plans are higher than their plans and His ways higher than theirs.

It is very sad that even after 2000 years we are looking for physical revolutions and cataclysmic events when Christ has clearly revealed that the new covenant is going to be marked with spiritual revolution.

It’s going to be hidden many at times from the carnal eyes, but continually occurring in the spiritual realm as hearts are transformed and nations changed.

It’s now time for us to reset, learn the lessons from the previous battle and get back to our sweet communion and relationship with our Maker.

It’s not the end of the world. But if you continue in the current wilderness mindset, you won’t make it far and it will shipwreck you faith.

Let’s run to the springs of life in Christ, the oasis of HIS presence where there is fullness of joy and pleasures forever more.

Confusion

There is so much confusion in the world.

So many voices, so many opinions. Don’t let your confidence waiver towards God.

We are not moved by our circumstances. We are convinced of His promises. Yet I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of God in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13).

The Exposure of Darkness

There is a moment coming quickly, where the exposure of darkness will be so blatant and obvious, that the lies and deceptions people have believed will be clear.

In that moment, there will be an opportunity to truly repent for being in agreement with the wrong side, which is the kingdom of darkness.

That window of opportunity will be short.

For when opportunities present themselves and truth makes itself known, people have a choice to either repent and come over to The Lord’s side or they will retain their false judgements and continue to believe all the false narrative and stay in alignment with the enemy of their soul.

In the moment when ‘the lights come on’ and you have that experience of awakening to the truth, do not let that moment pass by without praying and asking Jesus to save you.

God is giving people an opportunity to experience His grace and mercy but it comes through humility, repentance and a sincere prayer from the heart.

There will be many that miss their moment to receive salvation because they will run from God and continue to embrace their own independence instead of running to God and allowing Him to save them.

Please pray that those you love and those caught in the midst of exposure will not miss their moment to come to The LORD and experience His Mercy.
